What year was this taken? I was there that year, and can't remember when it was. It was the first time I took my daughter.

Officially, it would have been between October 1, 1996 until January 1, 1998. But it could have been anytime from summer of '96 (when they started painting it) until about April of '98 (when it was restored to normal)
