HRCollectibles, Brer Mouse, and Disney Soldier, thanks for the comments on the Festival of the Lion King photo. HR, I can see your point about Robin Williams jokes (I haven't seen it but I can imagine what he would say about that "pose").

Brer Mouse, Great photo on ROE!
1 Disney Dad, nice shot from TL!
Don Sullivan, I really like the depth of field on your Festival of the Lion King photo!

Can anyone help me? I have followed the instuctions copying and pasting the image code into the message body of the post and this is what I get:

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/28754076@N05/3453080681/" title="DSCN0312 by stealth007s, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3582/3453080681_7b348cec91_b.jpg" width="1024" height="768" alt="DSCN0312" /></a>

What am I doing wrong? I posted into the test thread and it worked fine.

I know it's been a while, but I don't see an answer to this: the problem is that you're trying to post html, and this board doesn't support html. You need to use the bbcode.

To get that, go to #2 on the flickr all sizes page, and copy that url, and post it here after clicking the "insert image" button. I posted an easy way to automate this process in POTD #5. I don't know if anyone still has the location of that link.

Don't give up on Flickr, it's the best site to use for image hosting and interaction. A big part of the reason I'm not as active in the POTD threads here is because I spend much more time there.

Great photos everybody. If anybody is looking for a new creative challenge during their next trip to Disney, Scott Kelby's Photoshop blog has an article today specifically about Disney World photography. He even shows examples of photos from Disney World that most people would never guess came from there. Check it out at http://www.scottkelby.com/blog/2009/archives/4414.

Scott Kelby is the man. His most recent book, The 7-Point System for Photoshop CS3, has really improved my editing. It looks like he could've stolen those images from KeeKee! Some are very nice, but I believe most of hers easily trump those.
