I also have the 10mp Lumix. Haven't used it much - still getting used to it. Any advice?

Read the manual! Seriously, it has been the only thing that has helped, and I'm usually pretty good at figuring things out without the directions. Once you learn all the settings you can take some pretty amazing shots.

Zack attack: I love mousegear. Nice pic. PrincessMiko: thats a really good shot of the new BLT....

Thank you!
Here's my picture for today:

I have a quick question (photo related too)?

I noticed on this past trip that cast members never stepped in to take photos of families, i.e. father would take picture of family in front of the Liberty Bell and then switch with mother to take picture of him with family. I observed so many cast members that "ignored" this action, where I gladly stepped in to take their pictures all together. Is this a "change" in the Disney Policy with the Photopass? Granted, I haven't worked for the mouse since 1997, but we were always encouraged to take family pictures for families.
Of course, I have noticed the caliber of cast members have gone down as well. There are some that are stand outs, but we did observe some "very unfriendly" cast members (and not just the butlers and maids at the Haunted Mansion - you guys are the best at being "unfriendly").

We were just there this last weekend and two weeks prior to that, and we had a couple of different CMs offer to take a picture for us. I think it just depends where you're at and what they are doing. I've noticed there seems to be less CMs with "nothing" to do lately!
