Thanks Gorjus and imamouse. No the ride hadn't stopped - I owe a lot to the new lens I got for Christmas. It has a wide aperture so it's especially great for dark ride shots.

I think there should be some exceptions to the one a day rule, and that exception is MATT BOOM wow his pictures are amazing keep em coming Matt!!!! By far the best quality pictures in the thread!!

I think the quality of photos on here gets better all the time. It's great that we can improve our skills by seeing other's examples of great photos. I know I've copied a great angle or idea for a photo I've seen on here more than once.

What camera do you use and what was the lense that you got for Christmas?

I used to use a Canon Digital Rebel, but about a month ago I bought a Sony a700 and I love it. The lens I got for Christmas was a 30mm f1.4.
