WDW Permits Part 5

Does that suggest anything in particular?

Disney is installing such an obscene amount of NextGen hardware right now, they're overloading the system with in-house permits.

Between SAMS and all the BVCC permits, they're almost assuredly all related to NextGen hardware at rides, stores and other locations; WiFi installations; and the upgrading of their property-wide telecommunications infrastructure (fiber backbones, upgrading routers and switches, adding rackspace to the data center and making other upgrades there, and providing all the necessary electrical upgrades for such work).

Not to mention the nondescript office space they're building out in Orlando that has an unusually high number of cubicle clusters (not unlike those in IT facilities), it's own room full of servers and fiber equipment, teleconference rooms and other offices - all perfectly suitable for a team of people to study piles and piles of data.

Where there's smoke, there's fire. Thanks for the explanation.

I dont KNow if anyone has noticed or brought this up but....Isnt it kind of weird that on all the DINOSAUR patents when they show the building there is a small writing of "countdown to extinction" why would they ever write that on there?

Because that was the original name.

I am not familiar with the location he mentions, is this outside the park or in?

Google Maps thinks that address is in the middle of the parking lot. Bing thinks it's Norway. Epcot Explorer says it's the old kennel....which is OUTSIDE the gates.

Granted, you have to travel there somehow (bus, monorail or car), but it strikes me as being very peculiar that Disney would put a MnG outside a park entrance. There are plenty of little alcoves along those buildings/walls that flank the main entry area/plaza. I bet it goes along one of those side walls somewhere.
