Some more permits for the S.A.M.S project today:

Animal Kingdom Lodge - Electrical S.A.M.S. Project
Electrical - S.A.M.S Project - Marketplace Building 06 Cash Control
Irish Pub - Electrical - S.A.M.S. Project
Innoventions East - Electrical - S.A.M.S Project
American Adventure - Electrical - S.A.M.S Project
Team Disney - Electrical - S.A.M.S Project
Frontierland Train Station - Electrical - S.A.M.S. Project
Check In Building - Electrical - S.A.M.S Project

Also yet another permit for Small World, one from a steel company for Test Track and a couple permits for the installation of Osborne Lights.

Did anyone ever figure out what S.A.M.S. Project stands for? I wondered if it's possibly Survey and Mapping System as part of the NextGen rollout...a way to keep tabs on us throughout the World? Just a thought. Wow, busy day for permits!

I personally don't think it's related directly to anything for guests because of the backstage areas that are included. For example today there were permits for the Cash Control building in Downtown Disney and the Team Disney building. Since this a primarily a telecom contractor, maybe the M.S. stand for Messaging System? Just a guess on my part, I could be way off on the whole thing.

Someone else in the thread suggested this, and I guess it's a posibility. My only problem with this idea is that is still doesn't fil the abbreviation S.A.M.S., what would the last S be?

Interesting permit for Pirates today. Contractor is InterAmerica Stage who has done stuff for the new Dumbo, new Test Track, Jack Sparrow Experience, and a few others.

That permit was from January, so it obviously wasn't for the addition of mermaids.

30,000 characters always worked for me on the old boards. Did Steve not up the character limit to 30k? Or maybe you're just typing too much for each one, lol. For the BVCC ones, just say "BVCC" since the description of work is useless. Just my two cents

Last time I had a problem he upped it to 30K, but August was a busy month so that wasn't even enough. Good point about BVCC, that would help.

Just tried to edit the August post to abbreviate BVCC but when I tried to save it I got the message limit error even though I shortened it!

Got today's permits up and the last two days moved to the start of the thread were they belong. Most noticeable thing recently is the number of Buena Vista Construction permits.
