With all the announcements at the D23 Expo I thought it would be a good idea to update the permitting process on these projects

Riviera Resort - Water management permits have been approved and initial notices of commencement have been filed. Work is currently underway.

Gondola - Water management permits have been approved and a couple of notices of commencement have been filed. Work has begun in a couple areas.

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway - Notice of commencement has been filed for first construction package. With the ride closing in August I expect work to get underway soon after closing.

Ratatouille - Water management permit was approved 7/17, no notices of commencement yet.

Guardians of the Galaxy - Water management permit for the re-routing of the canal behind UOE and drainage work was approved 6/6/2017, no notices of commencement for this work.

There are currently no permits related to any of the other projects announced.

I would bet on that. Can't think of another reason they would need to reinstall anything over there if it wasn't for Sum of All Thrills

I just got back from vacation so I am a week behind on the permits. I scanned through everything from this week but didn't see anything exciting. I will post everything in a day or two.

I didn't look at all the permits, but the ones I did all referenced "JFAK7072" as part of the location description.

It also looks like a lot of them are in the Dinoland Area.

It is with some sadness that I announce that I am stepping down as the site's permit coordinator. Over the past five years I have had a lot of fun reporting on permits and maintaining the permit thread, but I have reached a point where I want to devote my time to other projects. I will still remain an active member of the forums but I just don't have the time to continue the day-to-day maintenance of the permit thread.

With that said, I am looking for someone to take over the position. If anyone is interested please send me a private message. I will do my best to keep up with thread until I find a replacement.

Well, that doesn't seem right since the first four years had close to nothing happening. Just kidding with you... thanks for all your efforts and hard work.

Well, it's understandable. How are you going to ever top your deductive triumph of discovering the Skyliner?
