No, but I looks like they are showing the Frozen Fever short in there, so the permit makes sense.

Yes, they are showing the short Frozen Fever in there. They've also added in clips to plug their upcoming DVD Walt Disney Short Film Collection...as you leave the theatre you're handed a post-card advertising the new DVD.

Sounds about right. They've been using the theatre on the cheap for a while, but based on D23 it looks like the theatre will be a heavy aspect of Seasons of the Force so they're probably finally taking the time and money to spruce the place up.

That sounds about right. They had that walkway blocked off when I was there a few days ago with signs about F&W.

They could just be removing parts of the fence to set up additional kiosks or some backstage work for easier access. I think fence removal still counts as demo work? There's not really much else along there that could be removed unless it's demo work inside the Village event space.

The improvements are consistent with the permits that were recently filed for exploratory geotechnical borings, altough this gives us a little more detail on thier intensions.

It's possible. They already did some themeing in the buildings, It wouldn't take much to plus it. It makes me wonder about the toy story land construction timing however.

Launch Bay is confirmed to be going into Animation. Perhaps, it's for the Visa Vader M&G? Although that's not supposed to open until early next year.
