A South Florida Water Management District permit was filed today for the construction of a "MASH Modular Building" backstage at AK. This is close to the Avatar site so I have put more details in a post in one of those threads....

Yeah, they will need all the MASH units it could get. With all the battles going on over at Pandora, injured bodies everywhere being airlifted, unfortunately, will be a common sight.

Everyone's looking forward to how Disney is going to address so many of the child friendly aspects of Avatar!

I most have missed the Space Mountain one. But that's good to hear!

I didn't make a special post about it because it didn't seam like anything interesting, just a "queue monitor". I post every permit at the start of this thread within a day or two of it being submitted and will generally post about "interesting" permits the same day in either this thread or in an appropriate thread if there is one.

Orlando Business Journal just published a plethora of permits, including working on the Space Mountain queue area...

"...And that, in turn, helps grow Orlando's $60 million tourism industry, which attracts 62 million visitors annually who spend money at area hotels, restaurants, shops and more"

So each visitor is only spending 92 cents? Something isn't right in that quote.

I suspect "Orlando's $60 million tourism industry" was supposed to read "Orlando's $60 billion tourism industry"

There was a permit filed today for County Bear Jamboree. Must be a big project because it doesn't expire until November 2016.

Country Bear Jamboree - Exterior Rehab

Not sure what this one is for...

DHS Villians - 701 Sunset Dr - Provide labor, material and/or electrical for construction

Maybe they're gonna refit it to tie in with the movie. I mean... Why wouldn't you tie it with this AMAZING piece of cinematography?

Seriously though, Curious to know what that is about. The other is referring to Villains in Vogue I assume but still seems odd.
