I've been to both and resort wise, WDW is the best due to size and offerings. However, I love DL and how cozy and quaint it is. Being in DL is like deja vu if you've been to the MK. You feel as if you've been there before but haven't. You feel as if you sort of know your way around, but don't. Its definitely an experience if you can do it. My favorite MSUSA though is in DLP. To put the size into perspective for those that haven't been there, I will give you this visual for the parks:
If you leave the bag check area and head to the boat launches at Seven Seas Lagoon, DCA would be right around that spot. If you would turn right and head to the monorail station, Downtown Disney would be approximately there as well. Granted, its not exact, but it gives you an idea.
