Nope, it's stone. It's a close-up of the mosaic leading to the entrance to The Land. The caption refers to the single emerald tile in the mosaic.

Didn't that same artist get in trouble by Disney because she broke the symmetry of the design? I remember my coworker telling me the story last summer but I'm a little fuzzy on the details.
