I go to Six Flags every summer...usually the Six Flags in St Louis. It is refered to as being "in" St Louis, but in reality, it's about 40 minutes past St Louis, in a town called Allentown.
Same with the Chicago Six Flags. It's actually North of Chicago in a town called Gurnee.
But these Six Flags parks are nonetheless referred to as being in St Louis and Chicago.
Yes, it's geographically inaccurate, but that's apparently the norm when it comes to designating where something is, whether it be a Sports team or a theme park, or something else...it becomes associated with the more well known city closest to it instead of the lesser known hick, podunck town in which it is actually located.
Or, perhaps in this case, it could either be that, or just the sheer laziness of wanting to say one word "Orlando" instead of three words "Lake Buena Vista".
