Ah yes. I remember reading that last fall. I'm currently in the place you were in 2008. I have had no bad experiences personally. But I've read plenty of hit-and-miss reports.

Yeah I was there in 2002, 2006, 2008, and 2010. Last years trip totally made me have no desire to go back. I would go in and have a milkshake just to enjoy the "drive in" because that is awesome but I really don't need to eat that food or dessert ever again. I mean you CAN'T screw up a milkshake....Can you?:shrug:

I have never had it at Pop, but have the recipe and have made it at home several times. If the one at Pop is as good as the ones I have made, they are GOOD!! I posted a picture of the first one I made on facebook and then got asked to make a couple of them for a fundraiser luncheon and the comments that I overheard at it were hilarious!

It's a great place to go for a milkshake. I'm always reluctant to eat a full meal there based on stories like yours. Plus, I like the food at the 50's PTC better.
I am in the same boat. Never had the real thing. But I've made the recipe at home and it's delish. Always a big hit (and conversation piece) at parties. Based on what I have read of the real deal, I'm guessing it must taste the same because most people seem to love it.

We went 2 years in a row and never saw the place 2009 we researched lunches a bit more. I went thru the list of menus for other places and found it. OH MY GOSH even their ham sandwiches are so good and huge.. You would be surprised what going down the list of all the food places at each park has to offer. At least go to the places and see what others are buying and see the quantity or real time of the food. You will have new food to eat. OH the food court at Music has the best tomato basil soup you will ever eat.. Wish I could find another place that sells it YUMMYYYYYYY

John, I booked Tonys last night looks good!!! I do not asparagus or broccoli so can we sub that?? Also moved our trip to JAN.. Free dining was not offered 2nd week in Dec..So we hope we will like end of JAN

Is there any way dvcnut can post his pictures on the cruise site??? Most of us do not want to look at these pictures for WDW I really think this is the wrong place for them..Anyone agree?????
