Anyone else think the rice krispie treats at WDW just aren't very good?

anyone :lookaroun

I agree for the most part. I find that outside of homemade rice crispy treats there aren't many good ones. The usual problems are either they dry out and are a dusty crumbly brick or they are too chewy and hurt your jaw to eat. And I don't get the one's that are as big as your head, if you can't fit it in your mouth to eat it whats the point? This is one of the few WDW treats I bypass.

I tried them for the first time last week as we were on the dining plan. We aren't really desert eaters, and some counter service restaurants were quite upset if we didnt have anything so we'd have a rice crispie treat and eat it a little later. I was very pleasantly surprised, I thoroughly enjoyed them :slurp:

I must have eaten the sames ones as you! I found them to be very dry... like they needed more marshmallow! I much prefer the ones I make at home myself. There are other treats that I enjoy so much more at WDW, I always leave the crispy treats on the shelf.

Maybe I should give them another try...!?!

I agree the chocolate Mickey ones are not good taste old really. But the Christmas Trees and Snow Men in Dec are really good and big ones at that. Otherwise there are many other things much better in the world..

^^^^ Looks good! and healthy! Sometimes it nice to eat something not fried or grilled! :slurp: Although I would chose the chips not the fruit!
