I'm not trying to start a flame war, but lambasting me in other threads only to claim that you are just messing around, following up with posts like the above--it sets you apart here. And I believe it was this kind of flaming that got you banned originally. And maybe the second time too... :animwink:

We may now resume discussion of the original topic.

While I trust that an original email may have been sent regarding this topic, I highly doubt the authenticity of the reply itself (not to call anyone a liar, but based on what we have seen, I cannot believe this was a legitimate reply). As for the later replies, I see a few that are jokes and one that seems to be more in line with Disney's protocols.

My email was a legit response.. I know others who have received the same, or similar response I received, all on different Disney fan sites by the way... No one received an email from this Rhonda person. We all received emails from people found in the CM directory as well. I am starting to smell shenanigans... I think someone either really messed around with the OP, or the OP as seriously messed with us, trying to see what kind of response we would get.. Maybe, this is Disney's way of seeing how a new land would go over in AK.. LOL...

Walt, are you a secret Disney operative?? :)

Just so it is stated here online in public view (because I do intend to send you a PM when I get a chance ... maybe over the weekend or next week), but I do respect you.

I wouldn't be engaging you and asking questions and agreeing with much of what you say if I didn't.

I believe you're one of the most articulate voices here and I am saying that without taking your age into consideration.

When I question you ... well, it's not so much you as TWDC and agendas. And that's all I really feel like saying on that subject here.

But rest assured, while there are folks here I have little respect for, you most certainly are NOt one of them. And I just want to make that crystal clear (more to others than you, who I think gets it).

I haven't really commented on that original 'email' myself because I couldn't stop laughing when I read it ... or at the people who were actually taking it seriously.

I won't call anyone liars here because for all I know that's grounds for being thrown in the dungeon under the MK (or worse, Phil Holmes' personal punishment pit!) but ... I really wonder how anyone with common sense would take such a thing seriously.

Those of us who know how Disney operates well ... 'nuff said.

Let me say that I recognized your intent from day one, and have not once considered your posts to be offensive. I have cleared my inbox in anticipation of your posts (since I've yet to renew my subscription on WDWMagic, I was 40 messages over my limit), so I'll be ready when you send it. I look forward to hearing from you! :wave:

Its a strange situation to be breaking down such an email, but I feel like (for the most part), it has been figured out... I'm not sure there is really much more to say. :shrug:

Well, I'm really glad you took my posts as intended. FWIW, 99% of the time I try not to be offensive to anyone (I can hear the snickers from the peanut gallery now!) ... but sometimes things are lost in postage. And smileys simply don't work either ... and then there are people who live to be insulted etc ...

But now you've got me worried that I really have to write something deep and meaningful when I was just gonna call you a poopie-head since I can't here:lol:.

Oh well, I'll just have to try harder!

True ... but who cares at this point? That's the beauty of places like this ... it can go on forever and ever and ever ... heck, by the time it ends there might actually be construction going on at DAK and we can all throw a party in Rhona's honor!:D

The ironic part is that (as you know) construction on DAK's next addition was legitimately supposed to begin in 2009. All the time tables are up in the air now.

Maybe we can do what you suggested...just keep talking about this until something (a new DVC hut?) gets built, and we can all rejoice. :lol:

Yep ... besides, if ANYTHING is getting built at WDW you damn well know it will have something to do with DVC (just don't anyone ... it's Disney's best-kept secret!):eek:
