WDW Awakens ...

Sorry, but I can't explain how and why Disney does what it does. Or any large company for that matter. My brain can't compute the levels of stupidity, waste, avarice and lack of simple common sense shown by American corps in 2016.

But there are reasons why we are headed into May with no opening dates being given for ANYTHING at WDW.
How much does RoL cost to operate per show relative to Fantasmic?

Do we know who this Dakota is? CM, Contractor, lifestyler? Seems odd to have so much access.

I don't think he is anything beyond a Twit shill for Disney. He simply finds pics that others have posted and aggregates them on his twit feed. Frankly, you see lots of that on Twitter. People pulling pics and illustrations from other publications and individuals sans any acknowledgement as to where the art came from.

The blogging whores all raved how WONDERFUL lunch was at Morimoto today. No mention of the 5th price increase there since it opened in October. What are the chances?

Well, that's a shame as I loved the place when I was there last fall and thought the prices were fair. If a dish was $14 back then and is $25 now, then I am not going to dine there.

As to the blogging whores, why would they mention it? You think they ever pay to dine there on their own?

I stopped reading after you said Force Awakens was mediocre. REALLY??!?!?!!

its probably one of the best scripts that has been written in a very long time, the casting is amazing, the acting was amazing, probably one of harrisons best performances as well and totally blew away my expectations after watching Crystal Skull and thinking he'd lost his touch.

all in all though, i've decided to stop visiting these forums, i loved them at first, but then realised that 90% of people here just hate on WDW and i don't want to hear all the little details that i will notice when i go in May.

Chow!

Yeah, really. It was OK. That's about it. It would be considered much worse if not for the near unwatchable prequels and the Disney marketing machine that convinced people it was special. It wasn't.

Yes, why would anyone want to know the details of a place that costs a small-medium sized fortune to visit. You have a MAGICal time, ya hear!

I have to laugh when I remember how close I came to buying an AP earlier this year. I thought I'd be able to enjoy new offerings beginning in spring.

Moral of the story: you can avoid buyer's remorse by not paying to go to WDW. Have no idea how much a Tokyo trip would cost but as someone without kids, I think I'd rather save up and vacation there.

I couldn't stop laughing, myself. Hmmm. Where have I seen all of this before? An orphan in the desert, a droid carrying a secret, a baddie with a mask (used to disguise the fact that he looks nothing like Han and Leia?), a bar filled with strange creatures, (orange) Yoda, father-son conflict over an abyss, a bigger Death Star that—30 years later—still has the exact same weakness. Hilarious! :hilarious:
its probably one of the best scripts that has been written in a very long time

As Episode IV v2.0, calling it a good/great script would still be a stretch, but as Episode VII? Ridiculous! :hilarious:

No one is forcing you to read these posts are they?

Certainly true, but the same could be said about the main thrust of this thread: No one is forcing anyone to read the blog posts or twitter feeds, etc of any of the much belittled "lifestylers". I actually find it very odd that people who complain so much about "Pixie Dusters" who are addicted to Disney seem to go out of their way to actually pay attention to what those hated folks do.

Personally, I wouldn't have the slightest clue that "lifestylers" even exist and have blogs and such if it weren't for all the folks on here constantly talking about them.

Seriously about the 5-6 price increases?

I'm certainly not reading them. I prefer this site and OU much more.

Not just that.

If Disney handled social media in a genuine and professional manner, then most of these losers would have to either get jobs or lives or both ... and these people are largely social misfits who only have any self-esteem at all because they enable each other.
No, you wanting a photo with a foamhead as something you must have isn't normal or healthy if you are 33. ... Not unless you are very special needs.

I know tone is hard to judge online, but the level of excitement some Twitter "personalities" demonstrate over minute changes is really disturbing.
