WDW 2010: Same old pixie dust?

As I said before, yor lack of maturity, your lack of reading comprehension, and your lack of social skills become more prononunced with each, and every post you make.

I would suggest however that you be a little more careful with the name calling. The moderators frown on that. It does show your very nature though.

I suggest you sit down with your parents or a teacher, and ask them the appropriate way to conduct ones self in a discussion.
If you care to continue appearing childish by all means do so. Please tell me what in your repertoire of little post do I need to address. I'll give you a while to ponder that since I have to go shortly.

The bolded section is all namecalling. Mods frown upon that young man.

And once again you resort to name calling without addressing the discussion. Good for you.

Who said anything about quaint? I want QUALITY not quaintness...One can come from the other, but the bottom line is quality. Something original. Something traditional, but at the same time, something modern and new. Like Mystic Manor, if you want to get empirical.

I think you are pulling at straws

Hardly, I actually experienced it and know what I'm saying. The quaintness of the early years was a very large component of the magic and charm of the place. That is to a large extent what people miss. We have a "Mystic Manor"-esque ride called The Haunted Mansion. And it is easily a more quality expeience now, in and of itself, than it was in the early days. But it isn't as magical geting there. That is the difference. But I can only describe the situation because it's impossible for you to experience the difference. Because the WDW that was, was bulldozed in the 1990's. Fortunately, much of the quality can still be found if you know where to look. And with the new Fantasyland, more "QUALITY" is on the way after a looooooong drought of about 10 years.

But the quaintness and more personal experience can never be quite the same. I do pity anyone who never experienced that.

You only think he's a "realist" because you agree with his opinions, which are not wrong or right. All I think is that he has been very pessimistic, and he has. I'm not the only one who thinks so.

Whylightbulb is somehow connected to the construction of the ride. He knows about it. Did you read his posts? :brick:

Yes, the economy has had a major effect on WDC and what gets approved for the parks believe it or not. Do you think Bob Iger just has all the money and is just messin' with us? I bet some of you do, but I'd rather be a "realist" in this situation.

I don't agree with everything he says. I actually agree with JT once and a while.

But based on what we know about 2010 at this time, I have no desire to visit WDW and am not excited. I don't care if there is an E-ticket yearly. I would like something new (new parades, shows, fireworks). I don't think that's unreasonable with the amount of money Disney makes.

I read his posts. You don't think that makes him a bit biased? Much like all the Disney apologists that think Disney can do no wrong?

People said Test Track was going to be great before it opened. Same for the new Rockit at Universal. When they are open and working, then you could say yes, but they both have/had major issues/delays in opening/early operations.

Did you read what I said? Of course the economy plays a major part in this. However, why wasn't Fantasyland approved with the major profits that were being made in previous years.

Do you understand that what would be built in 2010 would have been approved in 2009 or earlier? 2010 attractions, especially major ones would be coming out of a budget of prior years as well as 2010. They would have likely been green lit in 2008 or 2009 depending on what type of attraction it was.

1. Why the looooooooong drought? Shouldn't or don't you think something should have been done prior to now?

2. I'm optimistic that "QUALITY" is on the way, but I don't think you can say for sure yet. Ground hasn't even been broken on the expansion yet. I mean, we're getting another spinner

Whatever then. It will be a great ride and you'll just have to realize it when you ride it.:animwink::p

1. TWDC had very serious problems passed on by the previous CEO. Even though Iger was there, he couldn't do the kinds of things we see him doing now. It takes years to correct such issues but new announcements now come on almost a daily basis. And some of the better aspects of the revitalization are finally reaching Orlando.

2. Quality is on the way. See DCA as an example of what WDW will be experiencing going forward. You can take my word for it or believe it later.

I merely pointed out that you lack maturity, which you do it's evident in your posts. It's also quite evident you lack reading comprehension, because you do not have a clue to what I've said. It's also evident you lack social skills by refering to me as sweety (by the way did you mean sweaty or sweetie) looser, and other names that are evidently not allowed on Steve's site. However I did like you calling me young man. It's been a long time since anybody called me that.

I've already addressed the issues in the discussion. Now I am addressing the few people that seem to want to disrail any topic that WDW1974 brings up.

Now, if you want to continue to appear childish please do so. I'm afraid I have to go now.

You addressed NOTHING. You continue to mock me, but really I should be mocking you. I'll take the high road though because, I may not legally be an adult, but I sure know how to act like one (unlike yourself).

Also, I'd leave this thread too if I was you. It's clear you can't have an adult conversation.

Nope, I have high expectations and high hopes for Potter just like I do for DCA and FL.

However, nothing is open and ground hasn't broken on FL. I hope I'm not disappointed.

To be honest im already disappointed. Im dissapointed they are expanding fantasyland. Just insnt my cup of tea I guess:shrug: I would rather see money going in to update existing rides everywhere, including tomorrowland. Its nice to see them expanding and adding new things, but I feel like things should be fixed and updated not expanded IMO.

I just made the text bigger so he could notice it better since he ignored my past posts.

People like him get me in trouble for opening my mouth. :lookaroun:lol:
