Wasps

I always thought of the "Disney Bubble" as surrounding yourself in a Disney atmosphere. I always thought of the "Magic" as a feeling that you get while there.

Until I came to this site.

Now I realize that people think there is actual magic and truly in a bubble that can protect them from anything and everything. Amazing.

I *always* wear stylish bikinis by the pool and I just *love* to flaunt. Public pools are just gross to me, so you won't ever find me in that water. LOL. Sometimes, I *might* sit by the edge of the pool and just let my legs dangle in the water but that's about it. But, I try not to do that because someone almost always ends up pulling or pushing me into the pool. Eww! I totally *love* swimming in the oceans, rivers and lakes, though.

Anyway, getting attacked and bitten by a massive swarm of wasps while wearing next to nothing would be like totally devastating to me. So, I can't even fathom how you find this to be normal or part of *nature*. I never go to a hotel pool expecting to be bitten all over my body from head to toe by a huge swarm of angry wasps. LOL.

I've traveled extensively, literally since I was born. I only stay in high end hotels and I have never seen maintenance workers out working with loud chainsaws and cutting down trees and shrubs right beside guests at the pool. LOL. This is something that is done while the pool is closed. If it's an emergency than close the pool to ensure guest safety.

The OP said that the maintenance workers intentionally knocked the giant wasp hive down -- at which point, he was immediately swarmed and attacked by the wasps and ended up with multiple painful wasp bites from head to toe!!! You may find this kind of thing to be acceptable and *normal* and part of *nature* but I don't!

I used to get offended whenever I saw someone call posters here stupid Disney apologists but not anymore. Some people have absolutely no common sense, no standards and no expectations. You know those, "oh we're just so lucky to be at Disney uh-duh" types who prefer a towel animal over a clean room. Just tacky and classless people. And, I bet my last pair of Jimmy Choo's -- that they look like total slobs by the pool, too. LOL.

Anyway, these Disney apologists are just the lowest of the low and they expect everyone to have their low standards, too -- just because "it's Disney uh- duh" LOL. Um no. I am not apologizing nor will I ever compromise my high standards and expectations for anyone especially dumb Disney apologists.

Also, if I invite you to my pool party -- you will be well entertained, well fed and well taken care of! You won't want for anything at my pool party. With that said, if for some ridiculous reason I decide to pull out the old chainsaw and perform maintenance work during my pool party and I intentionally knock down a giant wasps nest right next to you where you end up being attacked and bitten from head to toe. I will make sure that you receive medical attention and will attempt to make things right, and if I have to file a claim with my insurance company for your needs to be met and for you to be compensated -- I sure will. And, you won't have to ask either. That's the kind of person I am and those are the kind of people that I am accustomed to. And, I am so grateful for that.

No one here said anything about eradicating bees from the earth -- people who use hyperbole like that just to prove a point are just plain stupid to me and I think they should be eradicated from earth! I'll gladly take the wasps anyday!

Also, it's funny to hear people talk about *nature* when Disney *heavily* sprays the entire resort! I really hope Disney reads this thread and just stops spraying altogether and let some of these people get a real taste of *nature*. LOL.

I'm not trying to be mean but can you read? I am specifically talking about a poster in this thread who was attacked and bitten from head to toe by a giant hive of wasps that was purposely knocked down by maintenance workers while he was swimming at his hotel pool. Ugh.

I'm not privy to landlord tenant laws at all, as I have never rented. I purchased my first property when I was twenty, it was a cute three story townhome but since it was just brought up here. I think it was such a bizarre comment. LOL. I had to carry homeowners insurance in case anyone got injured while visiting on my property. I have never had to sue anyone and I have never been sued. But, it's really no big deal, just business, it's just how things are done.

Again, I used to get upset whenever I saw other posters talking about how dumb and thirsty some Disney guests are and how some of them will accept anything Disney tosses at them and probably pay them extra for it. Like, how Spongebob pays Mr. Krabs to work overtime, lol. Sorry, that's the only analogy that I could think of right now. Anyway, I always thought that was hyperbole. But, after reading this thread, not anymore. LOL.

ETA: @bpadair32 -- Thank you for your post. I just want you to know that none of what I said was specifically aimed toward you. It is all aimed toward Disney apologists and I really don't think you are a Disney apologist -- at least, you haven't given me reason to believe that. So, I hope I didn't come across too harshly toward you because that was not my intent.
Reading your posts is like watching a 9/11 video. It's too horrible to look away.

Awww, thanks @ford91exploder! Yay! I'm like totally a *winner* and everything! We are on a roll in this thread. First, The Empress Lilly and now me! Anyway, you are just too hilarious and thanks for making my night or is it late night morning or something like that!

LOL. You are just too funny! Hopefully, some poster will post pics of their wasp bites for you! :p

OMG! I just *love* this forum so much -- like, there is *never* a shortage of fun and laughter to be had here!
For the love of god, stop using asteriks for emphasis. This isn't Reddit.

No one is forcing you to read my posts. Use ***ignore***

I swear this forum is becoming more and more overrun with stupid trolls. Perhaps, I need to post more often? They *never* post when I am actively posting. It's always when I take a break. And, I am noticing that there are some new posters that are kind of like stalkers, lol.

You're saying I'm stupid because I read your posts? You don't need to beat yourself up.

I know no one's forcing me to read your posts. While I know I'm slowly becoming an idiot from reading your posts, as you said, I still know what an Ignore button is. I just really like 9/11 videos.

9 times out of 10 it is a case of mistaken identity. People tend to confuse yellow jackets/wasps with bees. Yellow jackets were a constant problem at the amusement parks here in Ohio. Same with most festivals, fairs, etc. Pretty much anywhere there is going to be large amounts of food or sugary drinks/cups in the garbage cans at events that last for days. Yellow jackets are just jerks. Plain and simple. There are also ground hornets that look a lot like yellow jackets or bees. That are even BIGGER jerks. Had a battle with a nest of them under my deck last summer. It's midnight, 80 degrees outside, and I went into full battle gear before attacking the nest... lol. Looked like I was expecting a blizzard! But I got the little... um... *jerks*... :D

Edited for those with a more delicate constitution... ;)

How bizarre. What is there to "really like" about 9/11 videos? It's a really sick thing to say, especially with the anniversary approaching in a few months.

Since you proudly admit to being an idiot and refuse to use *ignore* then I will use it.

At least I know not to ever visit or post on Reddit or whatever it is. LOL.

After reading this post several times I can only assume that is sarcastic and a joke. If so, well done it works really well as a joke. If this is actually serious well then lets just say let me know and I will respond to each section.
Hi @bpadair32! I would totally *love* for you to respond to each section. And, thank you so much for being kind and respectful.

Spraying one set of bees wont stop the next set from coming over to investigate. Again, you cant control nature.
If you do it consistently it does, I manage to keep them off my outside property, it just amazes me how little concern people have about the huge number of people with life threating allergies to these useless bugs.

I think someone* doesn't know how to properly use an asterisk.

Awww, you must be all out of Poke balls. You don't have to take it out on me, though. I'll buy you some more -- as long as you go outside and get some sunlight and fresh air and stay on *topic*. I just saw squirtle and balbasaur and the green mantis looking one with wings flying around right before I deleted the app.

Also, I have been using these *asterisks* for *years* -- they are not going *anywhere*. Besides, I could stop using them today and you would find something else new to complain about tomorrow.

I just want to focus on the *topic*. Is that a crime, now?

I have *never* seen a bee or wasp or mosquito or ants at Disney World. So, I know they must douse the place with insecticides. This is part of why I love to visit Disney World every year. No insects is total paradise for me.

I have seen them but usually only in the summer, in Aug/Sept there are "love bugs" (not sure what the real name of them are) everywhere but they are pretty harmless I don't even think they actually bite.
