Wow.....

Well look at it this way guys, surely it will be one heck of a book! They must be adding things, or perhaps making it much more lavish then originally intended?

I'm sure there is a good reason for the delay.....

I for one am looking forward to coming across it one day. All books i have seen about Imagineering have been gems.

Just FYI...The Amazon.com website and my local bookstore have August 26th, 2008 as the release date. So I wouldn't count on getting it until around Sept 16th to Oct 2nd with shipping.

And that's if they release it on time this time... take another look at my note and see when I ordered it. :hammer:

Don't you mean October 2nd, 2011? Maybe it could coincide with the 40th! :brick::brick::brick::brick:

I did not pre-order the book but I have been watching the dates get pushed back for months. I am happy to hear it might actually be a reality this time. You all will have to post a review when it arrives. I would love to hear if it meets your expectations.

I pre-ordered this book 2 years ago as well. However, got no notifications or e-mails updating me on the status.

I just searched for my order on amazon.com and the order no longer exists.:confused:
It is possible that my dad cancelled the order without letting me know or that it just went *poof*. :(

Lucky. I preordered two years ago... mine does say shipping soon. However, I use amazon prime, so I get the free two day shipping. It will probably ship later day... mine always goes a bit later than people who use regular. :)

Just got the info that mine was shipped by Amazon.de - I ordered it back some ages ago and so I was quite happy to find the mail in my inbox today. Anyone already received his edition?

I preordered mine way-the-heck back in 2006 using standard shipping... I got the email late Monday night saying it had shipped... it was in Tuesday's mail. :)
