I found this book for sale at Disneyland 3 weeks ago. Not knowing what was going on with Amazon, I just bought it and canceled the preorder.

WOOHOO! Mine arrived 10 minutes ago!

2 and a half years late....
Hope you enjoy it, Martin. There was some nice concept art and original photos in there I hadn't seen before (Walt riding the WEDWay prototype, concept art for the magic skyway at NYWF64, etc).

People had ordered this book 2.5 years ago?! I had ordered mine at the beginning of August (it's been on my Amazon wishlist since July) so I only had to wait 4 weeks. I still haven't had time to read it yet so it's sitting on my shelf next to my Imagineering: A Behind the Dreams Look, Since the World Began, and the Disney Mountains book! I'm in the middle of reading Storming the Magic Kingdom right now...which is a pretty good read btw! :)

I thought it was.....ok.
Not bad, but not in the league as Imagineering or Nickel Tour and some of the others.
A little bit of a disappointment I thought.

I read it as a very different approach to WDI. LOVED reading the personal background stories of the Imagineers. I am about 2/3 through. Wish it had modern Imagineers as well!
