Is Disney Riveria being offered as an option if the hotel I booked won't be open during my stay?
After 5 hours and 10 minutes on the phone, my two room travel-with bookings were switched from PORS to two Deluxe Studios at Riviera. Is Disney Riveria being offered as an option if the hotel I booked won't be open during my stay?

Equity is not in the parades. Not sure if this has been shared here. I came across it on another forum. Does this mean shows and parades are coming soon?
There are a lot of performers testing positive at Universal as well. Not sure if this has been posted but...
I did used to work at Disney and still talk to a few friends that work there, one of them tested positive with 6 other co workers. I honestly don’t think Disney is going to open in July.
I wonder if these petition signers are at home isolating or are they going to bars, restaurants, gyms, movie theaters, nightclubs, beaches, protests etc. Just a thought. There are a lot of performers testing positive at Universal as well.
Seems like Disney lucked out with the skyliner. seems to be about the best form of transportation during a pandemic beside one's own vehicle. The capacity - or lack of - is quite startling. For all transport actually.
Are we thinking 1-2 hr waits at bus stops or am I wrong in thinking that? I understand the amount of people will be lower, but that sounds like 12-14 people maybe per bus?A certain website had pictures inside the socially distanced buses driving around Fort Wilderness. No standing allowed and a number of seats taped off.
Its final. We now have a 2 bedroom villa at Kidani. The best feeling is when we arrive to see my niece and nephews face when there are live animals at their resort!not final but looks like 2 bedroom at kidani villas is happening!
I think that's why the park hours are staggered - so they can run 3x as many buses to AK from 7:15-8:15, 3x as many buses to MK from 8:15-9:15, etc.Are we thinking 1-2 hr waits at bus stops or am I wrong in thinking that? Makes more sense now but still see a long wait unless the whole fleet is lined up at each stop. Thanks.I think that's why the park hours are staggered - so they can run 3x as many buses to AK from 7:15-8:15, 3x as many buses to MK from 8:15-9:15, etc.
I'm curious if @lentesta and his team have figured out based on maximum resort availability on 7/11 what the most amount of on site guests could be and what theoretical percentage that is of the maximum possible onsite guests.
Last time I was at the Grand Floridian the lobby was packed, the pianist was playing and about 15-20 cast members at the front desk. For you to be the only one in the lobby is surreal.I think there's around 5,000 DVC rooms and campground sites, so between 10,000 and 20,000 people in Disney resorts, tops.
That assumes 100% occupancy. Based on my current stay at Bay Lake Tower, I think we're well under 20% capacity right now. If you told me we were under 10% capacity, I'd believe that too.
For what it's worth, I walked over to Grand Flo last night after dinner at Kona. I was the only person in the lobby.

You might want to find a tricycle and get some video of a child riding through the empty halls of various Disney resorts. Might make for an interesting youtube video.Same thing happened at the Contemporary for lunch yesterday. That was weird because there was no monorail noise.
How about echoing your voices throughout the empty lobby? I'm sure the bored cast members would like to talk to anyone. You might want to find a tricycle and get some video of a child riding through the empty halls of various Disney resorts. Might make for an interesting youtube video.
Has there been any talk of preventing guests from resort hopping? I know there was before.Same thing happened at the Contemporary for lunch yesterday. That was weird because there was no monorail noise.
I heard if you steam up your bathroom mirror the word YENSID will appear on it.How about echoing your voices throughout the empty lobby?
