You've thrown plenty of them. Again can you tell me why I can shop in your store, but I can't get on a airplane? You are allowed to throw insults, but I can’t.

We are open to the public. That’s why. I have never said I agreed with it. Our Omni-channel business went through the roof this year. I wish we would just stick to that for the time being. But it’s a Fortune 500 company and my name isn’t on the building. You've thrown plenty of them. Again can you tell me why I can shop in your store, but I can't get on a airplane?
Airlines, hotels and WDW are open to the public too. Airline employees are considered essential workers. How would you like your fortune 500 company to be shut down and you laid off? Yes. If it gets us out of this pandemic quicker. Yes. I’ll get another job. I’ve been working for 25 years with an incredible skill set for customer service and management. My wife is an amazing school principal and we have 2 amazing kids. We’ll be fine. But more importantly, the world is a healthier place if we all do our part.Airlines, hotels and WDW are open to the public too. Airline employees are considered essential workers. I'm not sure what advice from health officials you think I'm disregarding.
I’m flying to California and attending a large family gathering.
I can guarantee you we will not be following Newsoms Thanksgiving guidelines.
I'm going in January. I'm hoping for manageable crowds. I don't expect it to be like August especially the weather. So, the parks are getting busy. Anyone else think January may not be as slow as we think? And that Disney may be preparing now for a not-so-dead slow season?
Unfortunately I think that is the case. With the reduced restrictions they are now implementing, they are opening up a big can of worms. So, the parks are getting busy. Anyone else think January may not be as slow as we think? And that Disney may be preparing now for a not-so-dead slow season?
Disney is preparing now for the inevitable bump in attendance. I doubt it happens in January, but it will eventually happen. The 2nd wave will slow down and the impact of vaccines will start to be felt. It’s quite possible they get a significant bump by Spring Break timeframe. Maybe later, but that’s the optimistic outlook. If you look at their internal actions, the park hours drop back down to pre-holiday levels the 2nd week of Jan (with DHS keeping 1 extra hour for a week). They also pushed back the opening of one of the All Stars from first week in Feb to mid-March just before Spring Break starts up. That’s 2,000 hotel rooms not opening in Feb.So, the parks are getting busy. Anyone else think January may not be as slow as we think? I know. Just drives me crazy. You know the old saying, don’t feed the..., oh nevermind.
You do realize people in the travel industry won't have jobs if people don't travel just like people in whatever fortune 500 company you work for don't shop in your store. Did you fail economics?I think you've dug yourself a hole you can't get out of.I don’t blame people in the travel industry for continuing to do their jobs. Never have. I blame the people who continue to take non-essential travel trips. It’s careless.
I’m as cozy as I can be right now sitting in my recliner. Try again!
I completely understand that. It was an interesting conversation, but I have dining reservations to make. See ya.
Those were the days. Having the hub all to yourself in the middle of the afternoon...Disney is preparing now for the inevitable bump in attendance. I think the current moves to reduce distancing on some rides is a way to ease into removing restrictions and see what works. If they wait until the middle of March to make changes right when demand pops it might look rushed and reactionary to the increase in demand. Do it now while it’s not necessarily needed and it seems less of a money grab and you give CMs time to work out further kinks in the process.
All that being said I don’t think the parks go back to July/Aug crowd levels (hopefully ever). Unless there‘s some sort of setback with Covid cases or the vaccine I think crowds will continue to grow.
Yet ten minutes later you’re back to post a laughing emoji to that person’s post.I have dining reservations to make. See ya.
I wouldn't be surprised this blows up in their face. At the beginning I thought Disney was doing a great with being open and setting the standard on how a park can be open safely during a pandemic. Now they are no better then any other park and are showing why parks shouldn't be open. Last time I looked we are still in a pandemic so loosening measures at this time is a bad look.Unfortunately I think that is the case. With the reduced restrictions they are now implementing, they are opening up a big can of worms.
Actually in dealing with only closed cases (either discharged or died) is 97% Its only 99% if you include people still sick. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/I guess we should all just stay home forever. I’m sure this isn’t the last virus we’re going to see with a 99.8% recovery rate.
It depends on the age to people under the age of 50 the risk is even less.Actually in dealing with only closed cases (either discharged or died) is 97% Its only 99% if you include people still sick. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/
97% of people is 97% of people. It doesn’t “depend” on age if they are a person or not.It depends on the age to people under the age of 50 the risk is even less.
