News Walt Disney World theme parks increase capacity but see longer waits and less physical distancing

I‘ve never waited 3 hours for a ride anywhere and I wouldn’t wait an hour for Pooh or Pan. At DLR those rides don’t even have maxpass. I used it for Matterhorn, the mountains and Indy at DL. Nothing else had more than a 20 min wait. We did wait around 45 mins for Smuggler’s Run but that was brand new and wasn’t on FP. I didn’t mind waiting because I wanted time to take in the queue area. I’ve been to the Disney parks enough to not have to do any ride so if the wait is really too long I will just skip.

Eh....once....FOP ap preview it broke down i waited on the floor of the que....it sucked but what are ya going to do?

Im also not one to shy away from a debate. I just prefer it to be civil. The mods are good about removing the really nasty insults that may be why you are not aware of what I am referring too. Sometimes several pages go missing and I wonder what I missed, but I‘m probably better off not knowing.

Just got the new Titleist TSi2 with Graphite Design Tour AD DI6 shaft. Expensive as all get out, but the numbers on the launch monitor were through the roof. Had to get it!

I did wait over an hour for that Penguin ride at Sea World when it first opened. It kept breaking down but once you invested some time already it’s more difficult to give up. It was a huge disappointment too. One of the worse rides ever based on failed expectations, and that was before Disney had a single trackless ride in Florida.

You know...its a shame....i think that ride had so much potential the ride system is great....to me the animal exhibit should also have been kept seperate was wierd how it kind of just plops you there in a smelly cold room.

I'm guessing anyone coming here looking for info on WDW has been scared off by the constant harassing and bullying that goes on. Usually when I see a new poster they get the "your a troll" treatment.

Definitely possible. The other side of the coin is those that embarrassed themselves, their country, and pretty much the species by questioning the experts without any credibility during the biggest health crisis in 100 years...by far.

I'm neither young nor old. I'm old enough to have grown up without social media. If you wanted to debate, berate or insult someone you actually had to do it to their face. That took courage. Doing it behind a screen is easy. It takes self control not to do it. Self control seems to be lacking with the younger generation. I'm not referring just to this board, but social media in general. I'm glad I was born when I was. I feel bad for my kids.

You mean back in the yonder years? When people didn’t carry a phone in their pocket with computer access to towers not yet invented at all times?!?

On a serious note...the youngins are all “bold” without ever encountering a face to face situation...let alone each day.

This morning my wife's grandmother passed away from Covid. She was healthy til she got sick. Covid is a very serious thing and seeing so many not care to follow guidelines. Including traveling and visiting family angers me. Too many of you only look out for yourselves.
