From what I've seen from the vloggers the lines appear to be way longer than they actually are because of the physical distancing. That doesn't take away from your point about where to put people, but they all emphasized to not be scared away because a line looks super long.
When I worked for Animal Programs/Education and would give Private Tours at Sea World that was the best perk of VIP days.. Rarely happened, but if they invited you for a meal at Sharks Underwater Grille the company paid for it.

I know things aren't anywhere near normal, and probably won't be for a while, but I booked my ADR's this morning for our late October trip, and the excitement was just as if nothing was going on in the world right now. Great to keep the process going in countdown for our departure date.

Tower’s capacity-reduction is crazy. But, there’s really no way around it.
Oh, absolutely. There’s just only so much space to put people 6-feet apart. Walkways must still be open to foot traffic. It’s incredible how long a 15-minute wait for Space Mountain stretches now!

When the VIP tours cast members escorted singer Steven Tyler and his young girlfriend to visit and ride Aerosmith's Rock and Roller Coaster at DHS that turned out to be a spectacle years ago. We saw him along with many adoring fans who found out he was there.

With Orange County reporting 4.3% today, it might enter 3% range this week, 1-2% in 3 to 4 weeks is definitely a possibility. Sarasota, Pinellas and Pasco county already are in the 2% range. State of Florida is at 5.2%. Florida was in the 8% range just last week. Plus all this tracks with other states in the country like AZ and TX who went through the same curve/outbreak.
This is also the first day they have posted <2100 positive tests ,which is the threshold to move off quarantine lists in the NE. Of course it has to be sustained and Sunday numbers are usually low but progress is being made.

CDC just made a big change in testing guidelines, asymptomatic people even if they have had contact with a Covid_19 positive person don't need to get tested unless they are high risk.
One thing to note is positivity rate might jump back up now that only sick people are recommended to be tested. Be interesting to see.

CDC also removed the 14 day quarantine recommendation from hotspot states i.e. FL and international travel. That is going to help Disney quite a bit. Those hours are going to be extended sooner than later, maybe a month or so etc. of course states will have to follow but now have a harder basis for keeping it in place.

Numbers are trending down, cdc is pulling back restrictions, life will go on.
I can see them extending hours sometime in November (or sooner). Once they loosen up the flight restrictions things will get back to normal even faster. Probably too late to pack people in for Christmas though.

Doubt things will be back to anything resembling normal till at least 2021.

Currently park hours are being looked at to the end of the year. Don’t expect any huge changes if any.

How is this going to help Disney at all???? International Travel isn't going to improve - individual countries don't listen to our CDC. Additionally, I don't believe anybody wasn't travelling to Florida from other statues due to any threat of self-quarantine upon return (with the exception of Hawaii) . This new "guideline" will do nothing to improve the current level of guests at the parks, and the hours will stay as they are.
