Any way we will be able to identify you at the races?

I could be literally anywhere in the starting area or finish line area.

Happy New Year’s everyone! As a small gift from runDisney virtual runners participating in Virtual Marathon Weekend will now find their digital toolkits in their account. As well as their virtual bibs. Once again, I assume this is for all distances but am not sure since I am not running Dopey this year.

Good luck to all my fellow virtual runners, as well as the in person runners taking on Marathon Weekend or Virtual Marathon Weekend. I have already finished my runs but will be watching the event carefully.

My pass just showed up at 1pm. I thought it would have bar code or something to speed up check-in but it just has basic info, bib number, and if you completed waiver.
Same here. Pretty high bib number but I didn't have a PoT to submit. Do we not get corral/wave numbers until packet pickup? As of now I'm still set to fly out early tomorrow

Have I told you lately that I 👍 you?

Yep, no corrals til packet pick up (assuming it’s like W&D weekend). My Dopey bib is 233xx (I put an estimate of 4:31-5:00). I’m starting to get worried, I’m reading on the club runDisney Facebook page about all these people who put 5+ or even 6 hour estimated times that got numbers in the 20600-20800 range. I don’t know if that’s because runDisney decided to bump up the Platinum and Gold members or what, but it’s got me a little nervous. I’d gladly submit proof of time of under 5 hours to avoid being in the back jammed up for miles if they’d only let us.

I think I put in 4:15-4:30 but I don't remember exactly. I'm at 213XX but if I remember my marathon when I only did an estimated time it was in the high 23XXX range. (2018 with way more people). Club RunDisney gets their own wave AFAIK so I wouldn't worry too much about that.

Agreed on the old PoT measures but I just couldn't pull it together to submit a sub-4 number this year. And as it stands my trainng fell apart and I'm not really sub 4 anyway (without stops). I think you're going to have a great series and there can't be nearly as many runners as in years past.

Only Platinum gets moved up a corral.

Reading the reports of cancelled/delayed flights on FB is so upsetting. All that dedication put into training, only to have the last minute stress of whether you’ll actually make it to the event. Lots of people are just jumping in their car and driving instead (hopefully avoiding the I95 area - us mid-Atlantic peeps aren’t used to snow! 😂).

To everyone traveling over the next few days, I hope your trips are as delay-free and painless as possible! I have one more easy 3 mile run planned for tomorrow morning, and then I’m looking forward to another fun rD event! I won’t be at the expo until Friday - hoping it’ll be pretty quiet by then so I can just grab my bib and shirt and run out like W&D.
