O.M.G. Just saw a couple sneak-peaks of one of our school's first grade teacher's costumes for race weekend. SQUEEE!!! I've seen two of them, and I'm not sure if she has a third, but I know she's doing the Dopey Challenge. She always has THE CUTEST costumes and I know they are going to be a huge hit with everyone! 😍 I'm not a runner (if you see me running, you probably should too), but I love seeing how much fun she has at these events! Good luck, everyone! Hope it is a fantastic weekend for everyone, be it in virtual or in-person!

I really wish that teal color for the 10K was the half instead. I do like the character art though. Hopefully it’s comfortable, and not the itchy material like they were using in 2019/2020. Though I don’t get much use out of the long sleeves anyway - maybe 5-6 days here in FL. 😂

I saw some photos of the merch line and it was already crazy as of 8:30/9. I’m not surprised at this point, I know how crazy/dedicated runners can be! But hopefully this time, everyone is able to find what they want instead of the resellers snapping it all up right away.

Uh oh. Landing soon and I'll need to check bags at resort before heading there. Hopefully some decent stuff left

The line was unreal! Thank you to the runDisney staff for spotting my Club rD jacket and diverting me to early access 😁

I got lucky! When I got there at 8:45 that entire big room with the switchback lines was full and when the volunteer told me to go see if they’d let me in with my Club card at 9, the line was down the hallway just about to the entrance from outside. And that’s an hour before the regular line can even start moving!

Dopey runners have their own room for bibs and t-shirts, other races still have to pick up shirts at the vendor area.

@Surferboy567 - I checked the medal preview area and they didn’t have Springtime Surprise out yet, so we’ll have to wait a little longer there

@LAKid53 - I spoke to a Club rD supervisor where they were posted at the vendor area to try to recruit new members and explained I’ve been emailing since Dec 10 with no response. They told me all jackets have been mailed and to try emailing again next week because the staff has been too busy with marathon weekend to respond to anything. 😫😡

Interesting they haven’t revealed them yet, by now I would of thought they would of shown them off.

It was the same for W&D in November.

Platinum Club rubDisney members get to enter the Expo an hour early the first day. I heard the lines were long waiting to get in for that.

In March, when we can renew, I recommend upgrading to Platinum. Realize it's super expensive, but we have our own race bib and shirt pickup area on the 2nd floor of the Arena - they even have gear bags if you need an extra or two. Plus, you get into the Expo early and I understand if you need to return something, you show your card and you don't have to wait in that long line to get into the room with the merchandise.

I am so, so glad I don’t need any of the merch. When I first started running the halfs, I thought I’d get myself a shirt for each event. That quickly stopped when I didn’t like the designs and realized I’d never wear them all. After 12 years, and seeing how completely insane the expos have gotten, I know I’ve made the right choice! 🤣

I wanted the magicband. And I usually pick up an "I did it" shirt...if they aren't too hideous.

I go the pre-ordered route for some items.
