Usually there are signs pointing to the location of the Expo and race morning buses. But I noticed that opening day of the W&D Expo there were no signs at Ft. Wilderness. I just knew that the spot was where the now extinct Magical Express buses stopped.

There were signs at the bus area and front of resort. They were the same sign and just said to scan a QR code for more information. The last time I was here (2019) and stayed at Polynesian there was a sign directing people to the front the resort

They offered NO preorders at all for Springtime Surprise, at least when I registered.
That’s why I was always turned off by the preorders (at least from what I have heard). I want to see the designs before buying if it’s something I’m less sure about like the individual race designs.

I would have loved your first choice, not so much the second.
How was the run? It is now lunchtime for me and our warmest time of the day will be in about 2 hours (a whopping 40 degrees with a northern wind), so will go out for a short run then - we're in the sort of weather pattern that I need to jump at it when I can (tomorrow is threatening bouts of snow and rain).

It was good, dry and cool but not cold! And I think I heard a pre-race shout out from Carissa to our own @surfsupdon!
Send some of that cold air our way for Sunday, it’s supposed to get up to 81 on the Marathon day. Not as hot as 2020, but it I’m not looking forward to the sun coming up that day!

If I could I definitely would. I did go out after lunch and said no way is it 40 degrees out - it was cold! So I looked on my phone and while it was 41, it had a real feel of 34.

They had people go all the way to the Epcot security check point to go through the park security check point devices. There were two lines when I went through around 3:30 (one mostly from the parking lots and one mostly from the buses), the lines were long but moved fast. The bad part was having to walk way out of your way over there and then all the way to the normal staging area.
