If that’s the case I might. But I want to know if they auto credit the difference or you have to cancel and rebook.

OK! When presented with lemons make lemonade. The runDisney Disneyland races were placed on hiatus a while back, well!, why can't runDisney present those races as "VIRTUAL" races also. Let's get the full runDisney racing calendar back up. A bad start to 2021 does not mean things can not change for the better. Options, give the customers options. Oh yea, I believe the Force will be with us for the Star Wars Rival Run weekend. Not going to give up.

It sucks that the weekend has been shifted to virtual however their is a sliver lining here. The event is now virtual with some cool bling at better prices! Here is my detailed breakdown and analysis. Not sure if you can sticky this for everyone to see but here you go.

Before we start Disney has two options for pricing: A ”Magic“ one, and a “More Magic” one they are both basically the same minus the shirt.

Virtual Walt Disney World 5K:

Magic Option (just medal)- 40

More Magic Option (medal and shirt)- 79


Virtual Walt Disney World 10K:

Magic Option- 49

More Magic- 99


Virtual Walt Disney World Half:

Magic Option- 59

During this unusual time, race organizers around the world continue to pause on hosting in-person race events that draw large crowds. As we look at the 2021 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend and 2021 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend, we will convert both of these races to virtual events, similar to our offering for the 2020 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend.

The medal only option isn’t a bad deal I think that is what I am going to do.

What's the "gift card" thing? Is there any option for deferring your registration to 2022? That would be spectacular. I really don't want to have to play roulette AGAIN when there will be sooo much pent up demand.
