Do you have a screenshot of the screen that told us to take a screenshot?

Just to show that they did cover their behinds on this one (reportedly after they screwed up a bunch of time submissions at one of the DLR races) below is a snippet from the bottom of the submission page

Twas a joke. Yeah, that's what I get for trusting people. I didn't print it.

But if anyone here has their screen shot send it to disneysports@trackshack.com. Don't wait for the expo, they won't change it there.

Thank you for contacting us regarding your proof of time request for your upcoming race weekend. The deadline has passed to provide a proof of time and no further corral changes will be made.

At registration there was a box that every runner checked indicating that the runner agreed to submit proof of time via the link on the runDisney website. We did not receive a submission from you via the Proof of Time Update link.

We apologize for any disappointment this may cause. We hope this information was helpful, and we look forward to seeing you at the upcoming event!

Thank you,

Track Shack Events on behalf of runDisney

I'm sure I am due one of these, oh brother.

Surely they will see that I submitted my time, it would only make since that I submitted hers.

Studying the marathon map and comparing it to my RunKeeper map from doing the 2013 race and finding a few more small differences that are making up the lost distances from the race track and the back part of the Studios.

1) The TTC/MK parking lot route is a bit different. In 2013, the path cut back toward the center after going along the outer edge of the race track for most of the length. Now it seems to follow the driving path all the way around the curve to get to the tunnel exit out to the TTC.

2) Entering the MK looks a little different. After making the hard left turn and going under the monorail track toward the park, we went through a backstage parking lot and through what I guess is now the new evening alternative/parade exit. The new map looks like it goes through the bus stop and then up through the main gates.

3) The short out and back on Western Way has already been discussed.

4) it actually looks like the route out of AK by Dinosaur may be different (and oddly shorter), but that may just be an oddity of the Official Guide map.

5) The entrance and route through the western part of the Studios is a mystery to me. I can't really tell what is happening, because the map looks so odd there. Previously, we entered on Cypress Dr. from BV Drive and then went down Theatre of the Stars Drive down and through the tunnel with a view into the wardrobe/props building. Now, it looks like m aybe we stay on Cypress Drive around and all the way down to maybe Stage Lane, where we'd turn left and go all the way above and around that wardrobe building to the east side of it, making a left before you get to the end of the building and heading through a parking lot and maybe under an archway (?) out to Pixar Place. We'll then head Southeast, through or around Studios Catering Co., to NY Street. The rest of the route is the same until you hit Prospect Ave. at the beginning of Hollywood Blvd. We used to dogleg onto Perimeter Road to get out of the park, but the map now looks like it goes straight through the main entrance.

Sorry so long. Not sure I have all of this right, but that's how it looks to me.

If trackshack lost your proof of time, be sure and e-mail them AND use the contact page at runDisney.com so you get on the record in case they decide to do something. You never know.

How did everyone find out their bib numbers? I want to check my coral placement but don't know my bib number. I got the email from rundisney about the event guide but it said nothing about my bib.

I heard Marie from The Aristocats is one of the character seen during the Princess Marathon but I could be wrong. I wonder what location she can be found at. For those that did the Princess Marathon or other WDW running marathon. Does anyone remember what location she was at?

USATF map has finally been posted and can be seen here -> http://www.usatf.org/events/courses/maps/showMap.asp?courseID=FL12027TY if anyone want's something better/different than the one in the book.

Characters will vary from race to race and year to year, as well as their locations on the course. If you dig through the various race threads and look for recaps, a few of us try to post character listings from memory. Keep in mind that two runners might have been different characters even at the same spot. For instance, they had a "dog" character spot once, Dug, Bolt and Pluto were cycling through, some saw one, others saw all 3.

Thanks for posting! So I see from this that I had some things wrong above:

1) The entrance into the MK is actually the same as it was in 2013...through an access road to the East of the main entrance and then into park next to Tony's Town Square before turning up Main Street.

2) Rather than a hard left after the Tea Party, it actually continues up and then around the Mine Train, coming back through the new Fantasy Land gates (I forget what those are called) before heading through the castle.

3) Before exiting the park via the parade exit just below Splash Mountain, there is a new loop that goes up to Big Thunder Mountain and back before heading out.

4) The exit out of Animal Kingdom is the same as it was before...it just looked different on the guide map.

5) Route through the Studios looks the same as before. I was reading far too much into a badly drawn map.
