I don’t think anything’s missing from DHS, unless they never installed the Toy Story Land decor which I had not seen on any of my trips in mid November. Heading to DHS tomorrow so can definitely fill that answer in if someone doesn’t get to it before me.
Andy is away in college now so the backyard is not decorated. ;)

The Christmas trees are pretty good. Remember how we mocked the original tree trail for using 6 foot trees from Wal*Mart? Well, almost all the trees are at least 10 foot and decked out nicely (no more decorations that looked like interns with glue guns made them). The tree trail map with stickers are fun.

The bad news: When you fill up your map with the stickers, none of the redemption sites have the Tree Trail holiday pin in stock!!

The double bad news: DS discovered more Pentatonix Christmas albums and are playing them constantly. You'll hear 10 Pentatonix songs and then 3 old-timey gimmicky Christmas songs, then back to Pentatonix. I just don't comprehend how an entertainment company can't curate a Christmas loop for a merchandising center that amounts to a 4-CD changer with three slots given over to Pentatonix.

The Pentatonix also just add to the stress when that place is busy. Disney Springs is supposed to be historic Florida, why not use music that fits that theme?

We were there this week and we didn’t like the trees as much as when they had them all in one area. It seemed like they weren’t as full of “stuff” or maybe because they were taller and some were displayed in such a way that you couldn’t get as close, it was harder to see the details. We were also traveling with my sister who has some mobility issues, so having them all together like before would have been SO much easier than walking all over DS.

Their fans throw a fit if anything goes away. WDW has 25,000 newbies a day dressed in matching t-shirts who have no idea what festival of fantasy is. Unfortunately.
Sure. That's to be expected during normal times. But during WDW's 50th anniversary it's just over the top.

Besides. The dynamics are shifting at DLR as well. APs have been cut back in favor of more day tickets in the crowd.
