DL does a big thing with Coco surrounding El Día de Muertos. At EPCOT, they have a very very pared down celebration by the Mexico pavilion. It would be nice to see that and Mariche Cobre take over that flex space and make it bigger.

You claimed something doesn't fit. So, I was asking *you*, what would fit.

Your answer seems to say there is nothing that they would put on that stage that would satisfy you in saying that it fits.

Is that correct?
The theme doesn’t fit and the IP doesn’t fit. Unless the park is renamed IPCOT. Waste of time and money that could and should have been spent where it was really needed (SSE, Imag, Seas, LWTL etc )

That was exactly the question I was going to ask. I don't particularly like the idea of Encanto going into this space, but I don't really know what would be the "ideal" thing anyway for this stage.

I'm legitimately curious as to what people would suggest as a good fit for a show here.
The ideal thing would be to rotate "regular" Epcot entertainment here from time to time in addition to their usual locations -- Voices of Liberty (US), Mariachi Cobre (Mexico), Matsuriza (Japan), Command Performance (UK), Les Raftsmen (Canada), JAMMitors, etc. Use "A" and "B" rotations for the usual locations and this location if they have to.

I'd take an Encanto show at Epcot if it got us a Columbia pavilion.

Yeah, I still wonder about what is the "correct" answer here. There is a stage in World Celebration. during Festivals, they will have specific acts there. In between festivals, the stage will otherwise be empty but could have temporary offerings -- what do people think would be appropriate for that space that they would be satisfied with?

I sometimes get the sense that people would rather have no entertainment at all since there isn't some sort of perfect option.

Hey, Ops, if you need a space clear for a performance, section it off. Just borrow the painter's tape from MK.

So this opens tomorrow, it's not searchable in MDE or on the website and no show times are listed anywhere. Good times.

So does this mean there will be synergistically prepared Ajiaco served in the "Festival Favorites" food location nearby?

'Cause that was kind of good the first year they had it. Not quite as great the second.
