Congrats to the entire team...but this really isn't surprising.

I LOVED Jack Black though, "I star in one Dreamworks Animation movie and then bet all my money on Pixar winning the Oscar." He's such a nice/funny guy.

Yeah!! I love WALL-E. Hello Dolly is one of my favorite all time movies and the instant I heard "Sunday Best" I was so excited! It took me forever to figure out who voiced the captain...if anyone watches Curb Your Enthusiasm, it's Larry's agent, Jeff.

What I think is going to be interesting is next year, when Up! will probably face off against Princess and the Frog....interesting.

Yeah but they got hosed on Original Screenplay. How original is basing a movie off a politician?

Milk won because it is a typical Oscar darling. How could you expect a mere animated movie to beat something like that.

Seriously the Academy really needs to get its collective head outta its . The Dark Knight and WALL-E should have easily been nominated for Best Picture over the mediocre bore fests that are The Reader and Benjamin Button.

Agreed! Animated Feature is no surprise, should have won Best Original Screenplay.... HELLO if a silent film can be that powerful for the first 45 minutes, something with the screenplay is amazing.

WALL-E definitely deserved it but it also should have been in the Best Picture Category IMO. Props to Andrew Stanton for showing everyone how to do an acceptance speech in record time without forgetting anyone

...and Jack Black's comment about betting on Pixar was hilarious

Here's to Heath Ledger. Glad to see him win. He truly deserved it.

I'm not gonna lie, I got rather teary eyed when he won.

Here's to Heath. He left us too early.

I agree.... over a Billion and a half dollars (!) worldwide between the 2 films in revenue worldwide and a grand total of 3 Oscars.

Reminds me of when South Park did its take on the Sundance Film Festival way back when. Life imitates art i suppose. Nothing but movies about '*** Cowboys eating pudding.'

Wow, I'm surprised that WALL-E was snubbed for both music categories. It had a seriously awesome score.

Did anyone else think that the "Best Song" medley was...bad?
