I love it just because when everyone wakes up, its not the normal everyday hustle and bussle ordeal. Its very peaceful. But once you get out the door, all Disney hell breaks loose!!!!:sohappy:

For myself, I normally have a hard time sleeping the day before and some-what difficulties the day that we arrive at WDW. The day before, I'm making a check off list of all the things that need to be done. The day/evening we arrive by plane (which is a 6 hour flight from where we're from), we can't sleep on the plane. We're just excited that our vacation has "officially started." Checking into the hotel, just makes it official. Our tradition, we never visit any park when we first arrive. We visit the deluxe resorts, check out DTD (and at the time PI), eat at a nice restaurant, and check in early. It takes a moment to get to sleep, but we eventually do. Waking up and knowing you're at WDW is truly a wonderful feeling. Just knowing in a couple of hours you'll be at the parks.

Waking up and knowing you're at Disney is the bestest feeling EVER!!!
Sometimes even when we do not have plans in the AM I set the wake up call just to hear Mickey or any of the characters to wake me up.
Then going onto the Balcony and looking around and knowing this is the most magical place on earth, WOW its the best high ever!!!!
You guys enjoy your time ok...... Looking forward to new pics :sohappy:

I am so jealous!! Maybe next year for me.:xmas:

I do agree that waking up At Disney is so exciting. I NEVER want to get up early, however, when I am at Disney I feel like a drill Sargent getting my troops up and ready. :ROFLOL: That's what my husband & kids call me anyway! I am UP and ready to go!! I love it. :D

There's nothing like waking up, opening the curtain, and going out on the balconyto look around. I usually smile and say, "Smells like a Disney morning!"

Couldn't agree more Nick! :sohappy: I also LOVE watching the families scurrying to the bus stops to head off to the parks for the day. And then when we finally are ready and head down to line up for ourselves, that feeling of anticipation as we wait to board the bus for our park of choice. :)

Wake up at WDW, shower, shave shine, get dressed and slip out while family is still asleep. Get coffee walk the grounds and speak to cast members, maybe even a monorail ride all before I my cell phone rings and DW announces that” we’ll up and getting dressed bring us coffee and juice.”

I've always stayed at the Boardwalk Villa's. I love the feeling when your just about to wake up when you start to become aware of sounds. For me it's the sound of the beeping horns of the boats, it's my wake up call. It's like they're saying to me "come on, it's time to get up". This year we will be staying at the AKV in October, so I'm very excited to see what it feels like to wake up there. I can't wait ! :sohappy:

For me there are very few things/experiences that beat wandering the grounds of a Disney resort in the early morning hours. Everything is so still and peaceful, clean smelling and full of opportunity. I love Disney mornings!

^Ditto.

I am a notoriously early riser. Heck, I'm at my desk at work most mornings by 4:45 AM. I so enjoy getting up, long before the family does, grabbing the resort mugs and strolling down to the food court for a nice cup of joe. Then, just wandering around the resort enjoying the sights and sounds before (as a previous poster said) "all Disney he** breaks loose". Ahhhhhh....

ONLY 2 MORE DAYS!!!!!

I totally agree, the funny thing is I hate, absolutely hate having the 4:30 AM wake-up calls to go to work. Have to get son ready for his sitter, then my two hour commute to work (one way). I hate it. I sit in traffic thinking there has to be more out there than this. Yet at Disney, its like, well if I wake up at 4:30 in the morning so be it, I am at Disney!!

Everything just seems so much better at Disney!!

There's a couple of things for me. Waking up and looking out at the River from the second floor of Partier Place in PORS. Walking to Breakfast with the DWF. Seeing the beautiful well kept gounds of PORS. feeling the erly morning sun and realizing it's time to eat and then go and see the Mouse. At that point in time, nothing in my work life matters and all I can think about is Mickey Waffles and what are we going to do first today.

The next issue is the night before we sart our drive down to WDW from South Jersey. The DWF and I both go to bed like children waiting for Santa Clause to come. Somewhere between 3:00 - 5:00 AM we both wake up and and ask each other want to leave now. We both smile and laugh and say what the heck. Get showered put the luggage in the car and were on our way. This part is almost as good as waking up in Disney

During my trip last year we had a MK view room at the Poly. I would wake up every morning to the sight of the castle or even sometimes wake up in the middle of the night and go out on the deck and take it all in. Nothing is bette than waking up in WDW.
