'Villains Unleashed' hard ticketed event coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios in August

I really don't understand why they love having that stage up almost year round now at the Studios.

because it makes the BAH look not so hideous by comparison.

I kinda like the stage up actually, Gives Mulch, Sweat & Shears a good venue to play in. I wouldnt mind it being moved to another area of the park though, but I think that given how people enter the park, see something going on at the stage and head over there, this is probably not going to happen. The stage being there permanently would mean acknowledging that the hat should probably come down and that's not gonna happen cause they certainly do not want to permanently block that right?! since they do not like looking at the theatre...which was built that way in the first place for the entrance line of the street. its just goes on and on...
So Of course, if it does not foil what they started with its not successful.

Absolutely agree. The location stinks, but the idea of having a stage for shows isn't a bad one. Make some space somewhere else and actually build one that is permanent. I think they could make room next to RNR for example.

Agreed DoctorNick, I think that would be a great area, but the only thing is, that would it be so off the beaten path, that people wouldnt come to the shows there? Haivng it at the center of the park like that, doe sinsure that people will see what is going on there, regardless of if they knew about it before or not. Promoting the shows better could offset that though. Marie

Yeah, it's available for sale online now when you log-in and it identifies you as either a passholder or DVC. What's odd is the woman I spoke with on the phone knew nothing about it and kept assuming I meant Not So Scary.

When you're going to put a major event on sale, you need to properly alert and train your CM's who are going to be manning the phones, Disney.

Pretty good line-up. Maybe some free candy and a motorcade would be good, but otherwise a solid night.

Any idea if the firework show is the same as last time or something new?

So far news is the same show, possible slight edits, but I couldn't get confirmation on that.

I'm just glad after over a decade of trying, there is finally the chance at bringing the event to life!

The face version of Hades will run the stage show, its doubtful they would have the walk around as well.

Wondering if there is an issue with the system or if it genuinely is sold out. I would be surprised if it has sold out so quickly with zero promotion by Disney, and before even going to general sales.
