Yep. And I just can't imagine them shifting 20,000 tickets in a few hours with no promotion outside of those who read sites like this.

The AP/DVC Member Event pages (Link posted above is the main event page, log in as a DVC/AP and you will see the Villains Event) were just updated in the last hour to even show the event. As to not overload things, as mentioned before, event information is being rolled out in waves.

Yep makes perfect sense.

I tend to agree. Can you imagine the outcry if there were no tickets for general sale and it's strictly an AP/DVC "exclusive"?
The runDisney events also offer early registration for APs and DVCers. Since those events sell out so quickly, they have a limit to the number of early registration spots available, with the vast majority of the spaces reserved for general registration. I would assume that they would take a similar approach for this event

My only complaint is that these offerings should be available to all guests.

If they continue with all of these hard ticket offerings, there's going to be an obvious divide between the the upper echelon of guests and everyone else. It's not what Disney has stood for since its founding.
Well 50+ villains is alot more than last time. I imagine the park would only be more crowded than last time and it would be a mess. By limiting the amount that can go in at least the crowd control would be better in theory

Wondering if there is an issue with the system or if it genuinely is sold out. I would be surprised if it has sold out so quickly with zero promotion by Disney, and before even going to general sales.

It is my understanding that there are technical issues going on behind-the-scenes at the moment. They are trying to rectify it according to my people.

Do not attempt to purchase online. Please call. The date is August 23, it's it just is Hollywood studios. You're sort of friendly telephone agent will have to do some digging to figure out what you're talking about.

You will need to call at the moment
