The only thing that interested me was the oogie variety show, how cool would it be if some attractions got special villain overlays for this night? But that is asking too much lol

I've never heard of a C&D being used in anticipatory situations. It's not possible to cease doing what you haven't yet done.

This isn't to say legal at one company couldn't phone legal at the other and indicate that if a certain behavior is undertaken, any and all available legal recourse will be pursued...

True, it wouldn't really be a "cease and desist" letter. Call it a warning letter. Or a nastygram. Same basic effect though.

"We hear you're about to to X. Our contract says you can't do X. Don't do X. Please confirm in writing in five days you won't do X. By the way, we'll be watching, and if you do X we'll sue you."

Moot point here as it seems highly unlikely Disney would brazenly breach the contract with universal.

On the other hand, they've either studied the contract extensively and know exactly what they can get away with, or they've been seeing how far they can push before Uni pushes back. They've already started exploiting loopholes, like the monorail wrap and the Iron Patriot display at Planet Hollywood. It's likely that they'll continue with the cheats and runarounds as long as they can.

Too bad the Narnia stuff was given back to Walden, the White Queen would've been great. Malificient in the current A. Jolie mode would also be nice.

It's just a shame that the best Disney villain ever is unlikely to be a part of this...

Looks like the website issues are worked out (for now?). I was able to purchase the ticket this morning online. It was listed under Special Event Tickets (I'm a passholder and it finally showed up for me there).

And LOL at people thinking Marvel villains will be there. Yeah, no.

There were people who I thought were educated about such things propagating it. Maybe it was trolling but they seemed dead serious

I mean, anyone with a lick of common sense should be able to understand that Marvel characters would never be at Walt Disney World. It's clearly VERY wishful thinking on their part, obviously. They really shouldn't be spreading that.

If you want Marvel characters, go to Disneyland. Or fly to Paris. LOL. Heck, head down the road and visit IOA.

There are several other Star Wars villains showing up in any Star Wars Weekends Parade. Here are just a few:

Someone mentioned Emperor Palpatine?

More:

Yes, I'm sure these villains and more will show up. Isn't there a Star Wars villains section for this event? Including these guys, I don't see how it'll be too difficult to get 50+
