Kenny the Pirate listed on his site 50 villains including Star Wars that could realistically appear for this party and they all seem pretty practical except for maybe the Emperor's New Groove characters they have listed.

I've seen that picture and I know at one point WDW had the costumes but what with their track record I didn't know if they still had them or not. I would love for them to appear though!

If there is something Universal wanted Disney to cease and desist from doing, you'd think they wouldn't wait three months to ask. Such a delay would really hinder them in a lawsuit (assuming they wanted to file one).

Agreed. It was more a response to some online saying certain things about Marvel villains.

I would love to meet Hades. I would like to start an official request to Disney for an Ursula walk about character. She is my favorite villain, and arguably, she is in the top 5 fave villains of all time (right behind Queenie, Mal, Cruella and Hook...). There is some horrible Disney show coming to town that has an Ursula in the show. I watched some video and the concept could definitely work at the parks. Its time, people!

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This times a million. I would love to meet her-she is my favorite by far. So hilarious, evil, and let's face it, hot. Seriously though-they stick her on the back of a float and call that enough. Nope.

I think everybody realizes there's not a chance in hell of a marvel villain being at this party.

Anyone he starts this kind of rumors is just looking for personal attention…

You can't issue a c&d based on what someone might do, and I don't think the SEO that SK found would qualify. It certainly made for some wild theories the past 24 hours though

You can write a cease and desist over anything you want. You certainly don't have to wait until your rights have actually been violated. That said, I agree that the SEO that was found probably doesn't warrant any action on Universal's part.

I've never heard of a C&D being used in anticipatory situations. It's not possible to cease doing what you haven't yet done.

This isn't to say legal at one company couldn't phone legal at the other and indicate that if a certain behavior is undertaken, any and all available legal recourse will be pursued...

Already bought my ticket. Looks like it is going to be an awesome event. Excited to see who will show up and the shows. When I called this morning, the guy I spoke to was saying how they were surprised people were calling already to get tickets since it really didn't have any promo (i called at 10am). Pretty awesome for the price too.
