MK Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

I think Villains would benefit more from a large scale trackless ride if MK gets Moana (another boat ride) down the line.

Am I the only one who is of the opinion to spend 100's of millions of dollars on a new land to have 2 new attractions is just plain stupid? Toy Story land, Star Wars Land, Avatar all just 2 new attractions and the complaint is all of these are under developed. Yet it appears Villains land and the AK new land both appear to have only 2 new attractions (and no I do not count a redo on Dinosaur a new attraction).

I see what you're saying. However, with that said, would a $2 million budget be able to afford and pay for a sixth park in today's market? Probably not. It is most likely cheaper to expand land with two rides.

Imagine if they built a brand new land and instead of an E-ticket and a C that cost millions of dollars, they build a land with 5 or 6 B tickets (but ones the whole family can ride). Just sayin’…

just don't think that is realistic as it is the E/D tickets that i) promote sales of LLMP/PP/SP and ii) are the marketing draw to the lands and get people excited and to book a trip

Ideally they do have a couple of lower level attractions as well to help with crowd dispersion - though I also know those are the easiest to cut when the budget is getting too high

I hope Villains gets
- Major E ticket dark rides - level of Rise but without a height restriction so the whole family can ride. Maybe something like Mystic Manor where you are exploring the castle but then get spotted and one of the Villains casts a spell on your ride vehicle making it go out of control a bit
- The coaster - that is trilling but still a family coaster. Something the level of Hagrids would be great
- a C ticket ride with no height requirements and/or a play area
- a show
- streetmosphere
- TS restaurant - maybe with characters or at least some immersion elements (maybe could use some of the animators pallet technology from the cruise line making it like a magic mirror at each table
- quick service, shops, etc.

I think you mean Modest Mussorgsky, not Tchaikovsky.
