Viewing Illuminations ROE from FW side of WSL?

Just wondering if anyone knows any good spots for viewing Illuminations from the Future world side of World Showcase Lagoon? I've always viewed it from WS. Is it usually pretty crowded from the other side? Are the sight lines bad?

Curious...

If you get an unobstructed view it is one of the better views; the shows 100% spot is right on Showcase Plaza facing the AmAd. The plaza is often closed for an event or cram packed; other spots are towards Canada (watch out for trees) or the Odyssey/Mexico bridge on the prom (popular)

I watched it from there on my last trip. They had it roped off apparently due to high winds but it was still a great view.

Can't understand you wanting to see ROE from Future World - ok so you miss the crowds and are first in line to exit the park - but what about The Globe ? ROE isn't just about the fireworks

I think he means FW as in the part of the lagoon you hit first when exiting FW near the shop which has a name I can't think of right now.

IMO, this is a great spot to see IllumiNations from but it's always a busy one.

Normally, when I am solo and taking the bus, I watch it from there. I prefer the views in some of the WS pavilions, but this allows me quick access to the exit. The view is really good, but you normally have people crammed all around you.

Do you mean the two stores that are right next to each other? If so, the names are escaping me as well.

Remember There are 4 barges called the maxi barge. They are all identical and rectangular and they have the fountains and the fireworks. Then there is an l shaped dock in the middle of the water. If you see 2 maxi barges and perfectly see both of the fronts they will be on an angle a bit and there is no trees in front of you your good. Make sure you have full few if the low l shaped deck in the center of the lake. In the front facing the US pavilion you might not see the dock it if there is a funny shaped barge in front the same thing you want full view of the funny shaped barge. Remember full front view of the maxi barge, full view of objects in the middle, no trees, full view of the lake, your in good shape look during the day you will never see them at night they come out I think somewhere between 4 and 5. Dont stand between Canada and Mexico because between those spots old the most crowded and the further away you are by the time you get there the crowds are already gone. Future world you just get ran over. Also dont stand anywhere behind the 2 identical buildings in the entrance of the world showcase and definitely to behind the monorail track. Then you are better off watching wishes. Take your time stand closest to the US pavilion and take the advice I gave you. If you get tired by the time you get to future world it should be more empty if the fountain and the lights are on sit around that means they will probably have a fountain show and that ushrualey happens a half hour after illuminations. The later you get out I think the better.

Between the two stores, dead center across the lagoon from American Adventure is the sweet spot IF they open the front section along the railing. Sometimes its too windy and they keep the very front section closed, then its good but not great. Get there a little early and wait at the front until they open the section and sit by the railing. This is the absolute best viewing there is imo.
