The easiest solution for them is to offer FASTPASS to resort Guests and charge offsite Guests for use of the service.
That won’t happen.
What I wouldn’t be surprised with is less free fastpasses for everyone - just to give a flavour - and then options of various uncharge packages for more.
It’s not an on-site vs off-site proposal.I’m just a periodic visitor who like what Disney can offer my family, so, forgive my totally uniformed question, but why would this never happen?
Is it because there are too many resort rooms available? I mean, all of the Disney boards I follow, keep talking about how the value of staying onsite has been continually eroded over the years. This would certainly be a huge benefit to staying at a Disney resort.....
Disrupting plans doesn't bother them. I think you're really only safe 60 days out (even then they sometimes change things up).I'll wait to see what the plans are. I'd think any rollout would be a bit complicated since vacations can be booked a good year in advance.
It’s not an on-site vs off-site proposal.
This isn’t.Is this a you get more “free” ones the higher up resort you stay at.
It’s going to be a toxic topic when it comes to fruition. I’m steering clear of more details for now.
Ah. Welcome back.Come on...you sissy...
Ok, officially...there’s no much I can say other than to remind everyone (on the dis, by the way), that monetizarion of fast pass was always a surety.
They weren’t spending on IT just so you could get WiFi.
The Lannisters always pay their debts
...we are the Lannisters
It's hard to go down much from 3.Oh boy. So if it's free FastPass used as an incentive buying more ... does that mean fewer free FastPass selections? Down from 3?
I could see packages being a possibility. Get one or two free, then three is X amount of dollars, 5 is X amount of dollars and so on.
Understand completely if @marni1971 can't say.
Is it still in the proposal phase, or is it a greenlit plan at this point? It’s not an on-site vs off-site proposal.
There’s two other numbers. It's hard to go down much from 3.
It’s happening AFAIK.Is it still in the proposal phase, or is it a greenlit plan at this point?
Or maybe they keep it at three but only for certain lesser attractions. DLP divides things into 'family' attractions and thrill attractions. So you can get a 3 for Small World, etc... But have to pay if you want to get 7DMT or BTMR....It's hard to go down much from 3.
Disney just loves going to the well for more. One day that well will run dry. This isn’t.

So 1 free “select” experience, then one of the other experiences, or pay $19.95 per person per day for 3 more selections of your choice. There’s two other numbers.
