This is a photo of Joe Rohde after they told him they weren't doing Beastly Kingdom.

Like Taylor Swift and her 70 something ex boyfriends, there is some bad blood between Rohde and Iger. One of them helped create Disney World, while the other makes speeches and says "Lets buy this".

I doubt the Beastly Kingdom (Dominion) rumor is true, but I hope it is. I've seen it on multiple message boards, but none of the just news sites. So take the rumor with a big grain of salt.

I think a POC themed water park would be awesome. Huge life size ships to explore and interact with. Incorporate a nigh time pirates show with ship battle and stunt elements. Very cool theming possibilities.

That would actually be pretty cool.

In fact It would be awesome if they made a whole Magic Kingdom inspired water park. This way it wouldn't have to be just one theme. Picture what they could do with the Splash Mountain, Space Mountain and Haunted Mansion themed sections.

Is there actually demand for a third water park?

There's room to expand both if there's a capacity issue.

With Volcano Bay now open, there might be “demand” for a more exciting water park I guess.

Good point. Volcano bay has another 5 acres to expand but I think it's done after that. It has limited capacity.

When do the 2018 attendance figures come out? Typhoon, Blizzard and Aquatica all took a hit in 2017 with Volcano Bay.

Not really.

If you just scroll up and read, there was an ongoing discussion about demand for a 3rd waterpark and how Volcano Bay affected attendance and even when the 2018 report would come out.

So when the new report came out, I linked to the new thread but with the pertinent information for this thread.

Saw the article on the front page about a waterpark at Margaritaville about to open up.

Island H2O Live! water park opening for preview days starting June 5
