I have said this before

lose the tents, keep the houses, the boat and don't retheme the Barnstomer

put a silly symphonies dark ride where the tents are. Use the area between the houses as an entrance.

move the Dumbos where PH was supposed to be (the circus comes to toon town)

what ever space is left make a better toon town

if there is any space left after that make a PH like DL.

that was easy.

The circus is coming to toontown, so take down the circus tents?

One reason I see Toon Town sticking around is that apparently the County Bounty is one of the most successful merch locations in MK. Staggs was reportedly very concerned about not having a replacement. One thing I'm reasonably sure of is that whatever goes in the east end of the expansion will have to include a store similar in size and merch to County Bounty.

I think they should retheme Toontown to Steamboat Willie or something along those lines. The tents can be removed and turned into some dark ride in which you can board the steamboat. The entire land could be painted black and white by day and can turn to color by night using fiber optics. The Barnstormer can stay as is just a change of color scheme to fit the black and white theme. The houses can be kept as well.

I've wondered about TT actually departing MK from the onset of the FLE.....

What's so great about this County Bounty anyway? I've been hearing a lot from it.

Nothing, really. It's just a big merch store in the middle of TT. All the M&Gs are under the same roof. I guess that must drive sales. There's also a candy store in there.

I really dunno. I was shocked to hear it was one of the top stores. But the more I thought about it, I realized we almost always wind up buying something there. (More specifically, my wife and oldest daughter always buy several things there.)

I've been in that County Bounty store- and it really is awesome. It had EVERYTHING. Plush of all kinds, frames, pins, meet and greet nearby, and even- yes- a Mr. Potato-Head design station. It also had a lot of Micky knick knacks (not that most/every merch location doesn't, but this store just seemed like it had a ton to choose from).

And yes- I think my famiy bought quite a bit there (and we usually ignore the merch!)

Whoa I follow this site a lot and I didn't know about this. I don't like this. We don't need another coaster in MK IMHO

Woah, woah, woah! Where did this come from?! :sohappy:

They were testing the living character initiative Mickey out in Disneyland. I believe Jim Hill said a while ago on his show that these would like come to the character meals first, and then out to the rest of the park.

There's a bunch of talk on this in the Fantasyland forum

Snow White may not be closing afterall, read Lee's new thread towards the last few pages, this info is changing and may again.

Some people are saying Snow White's Scary Adventures is leaving, and I think that's what's leading people to guess that Project X is the Mine Train Coaster. The pieces fit together so conclusions are being drawn. I wouldn't be shocked if Snow White's Scary Adventures stays, Skyway gets repurposed for Fairies and Princesses and "Project X" is something different than the Mine Train ride as well, but I think these decisions have been made they just haven't been publicized yet.

I'm in the process of a major upgrade to the first page of this thread. Did I miss an announcement about the new parade for the 40th, or has that announcement not been made yet?
