Unsure who to vote for regarding the Walt Disney Co. Board

I have to admit Disney buying Lucas I thought was a good thing at the time. Disney seemed like a place that would protect Star Wars...... boy was that wrong. Pixar was mostly good............. Marvel was a bit of a surprise but it started out sooo Good............ It kind of amazes me to see what he has ALLOWED to happen either in Hubris or whatever. Its amazing how they started out true to the Properties spirit (ok not Disney Star Wars) and did great, but you can see where they started changing things for the sake of change it went to crap.
At worst case, purchasing Lucas kept that IP out of the competitors hands. Imagine what Uni could have done with a SW park.

Look you guys, I know Bob Iger is not a perfect CEO, I won’t deny that, but at least he realizes what bad things he’s done and tries to fix Disney the best he can. Besides, that last Earnings Call announcement makes the Disney stocks go higher. At least this will help me not to say it’s the end of Disney nonsense. And though Nelson Peltz has a point in the beginning, but the biggest mistake he made is partnering with the worst Disney guy ever is Jay Rasulo. So I’m afraid there will be no votes for Peltz in this year’s Shareholders Meeting.
It’s not that anyone wants perfection…it’s that it’s been 20 years…he’s in his 70s…and it’s time to go. He’s out of new ideas and the old ones are giving diminishing returns

Disney needs someone with energy. That’s worked in the past and can again. It’s not a hedge fund where you can just rot in your chair

Exactly.
On a side note, I don't think the Star Cruiser was ever sustainable at that price point. But had they "OT'd" it, I would concede it at least would have had a fighting chance.
It’s beyond obvious that OT would have created a specific dynamic

And is the majority of parents are still Gen X and they grew up a Captive audience

They showed the Star Wars movies on network television twice a year for a decade

For Chrissakes…they only show the Ten Commandments and Wizard of Oz ONCE 😡

Question…

Does G+ disincentivize additional capacity?

I don't know. One could make an argument for Genie+ that it doesn't sell as well in Disneyland, but obviously it's still a successful system in a better park. WDW has some parks though that G+ is skippable due to a lack of sufficient products to add towards it and I think they are aware of those examples.

On the other hand ILL could incentivize elaborate E-tickets with moderate capacities. When the show-stopper rides are also self-funding, that's very easy to demonstrate major Return on Investment.

Hey guys! Let’s make David Zaslav CEO! I mean, Iger has done a lot of stuff I don’t like and ANY change would be good, right?
Maybe we could see, say, Elio ending up in the same position as Coyote vs. ACME or Disney+/Disney Channel/Disney Junior/etc. being powerwashed to their barest bones to make room for the same ol' reality television junk he's obsessed with. That would be nice! Right? Right?

Any idea why it works better in Anaheim?

Well yes it definitely works better in the case of Anaheim because of capacity. Your guess is as good as mine if the bean counters think that's a good thing. I definitely think it's a great thing.

But I definitely think ILL could be used to justify attractions. I'm surprised Bob hasn't played that card yet to Wall Street.

1. Capacity
2. More of a casual crowd
3. The customer “training” on maxpass

None of that is in Orlando and it’s not gonna change
