It does need something. Would like to see them revisit their scrapped plans for integrating it into the Indiana Jones temple/volcano.Tokyo space treatment? I dunno but it needs something. Also terrible capacity

Seconding. Flight of Passage being the best ride on WDW property adds to that too.Unpopular opinion is that Animal Kingdom is the best park in Orlando and the second best park in the United States after Disneyland. Outside of the number of rides it has, it's exceptional at basically everything and is a better experience overall than Islands of Adventure or Magic Kingdom.
AK is wonderful, it just needs more.Seconding. Flight of Passage being the best ride on WDW property adds to that too.

I need to break that, bad habit of mine. Wdw is great when you slow down. Learned that firsthand. Comes with getting olderI think Animal Kingdom is a bad park for people who want to jump from ride to ride all day long,

Yes. Agreed. It’s the smaller things that make a park good. Too bad Disney kinda forgot that. I went last year, I found myself enjoying non ride things waaay more than years past.Oh it's completely understandable. I like rides too, and I really enjoy IOA. Most people go to theme parks for rides. But I don't think rides alone are what make a great theme park. Not for $120+. A ride experience is mostly a line experience afterall lol. It's one reason a regional park I go to very often like Cedar Point becomes grating to me. Terrible lines and terribly short attractions.
I hope everyone here gets to experience the joy of sitting at the poly in a chair in the sand, looking across the lagoon with Hawaiian music playing and the steam whistles from the magic kingdom blowing. Pure joy.Thisas I age , World Showcase and AK are becoming my favorite
I don't disagree. The parks are great for the most part. It's the price and the nickel and diming I can't get past. Especially when my family can have similar fun at a Cedar Point or DollywoodMy unpopular opinion is that Walt Disney World is still amazing, awesome, and a fantastic vacation destination.
My most recent trip was in 2022. I had a great time.My unpopular opinion is that Walt Disney World is still amazing, awesome, and a fantastic vacation destination.

I get what you're saying. I'm not claiming WDW is perfect. I don't think anyone can argue about the nickel and diming, as @Jrb1979 put it, or that there are some things that have gotten worse, such as the cramming of IP into everything. However, on balance, I still think it is a great place to vacation. I don't think, as you put it, Iger and company are destroying "all that is good about it." I think they have done some damage, but I still think there's tons of good left. I know others here disagree, but I am a long way from not wanting to vacation there any more.I love Animal Kingdom. Of course, I love animals, so that's probably a good part of it.

You misunderstand - it's BECAUSE we love the parks that we don't like seeing Iger and his cronies slowly destroy all that is good about it.
Oh, I fully agree. As long as a lot of what I love about the parks are still there, I'll keep going.but I still think there's tons of good left.
you must have missedCall me crazy but I don’t think the Disney world pizza is that bad not great or anything but it serves its purpose. What bothers me more is how small the portion normally is.
I didn’t miss it. I remember thinking the pizza was small before the pandemic.you must have missed
Walt Disney Company CFO Christine McCarthy suggested reducing theme park food portion sizes as a cost-cutting measure, and then jokingly added that it "is probably good for some people's waistlines," which drew criticism for being "fat-shaming".
Have you actually been to any non-Disney parks? While I can understand someone loving AK over all the other Disney parks, especially if they are really into animals.... I don't think I could ever see it topping a list of all parks in the world, or even all in the US... Then again, AK remains the one we will often skip or only bother with wasting a half day on.Unpopular opinion is that Animal Kingdom is the best park in Orlando and the second best park in the United States after Disneyland.
