Unpopular Disney world opinions

Have you actually been to any non-Disney parks? While I can understand someone loving AK over all the other Disney parks, especially if they are really into animals.... I don't think I could ever see it topping a list of all parks in the world, or even all in the US... Then again, AK remains the one we will often skip or only bother with wasting a half day on.

Lol, yes I've been to many. Both US Busch Garden parks. Dollywood, Silver Dollar City, Hershey Park, and so on. Both Universal parks of course, as well as SeaWorld Orlando. Disneyland & DCA of course. Some others I'm probably forgetting. Cedar Point which I mentioned.

Now, with you saying you can't see DAK topping a list of parks in the world, that was never mentioned. But I did say it was the best park in Orlando and the second best in the US. Which I stand by. A lot of those regional parks are great for what they are but they really aren't on the same level as a Disney or Universal park and they are priced accordingly.

And as I said, I think DAK is better than the other Orlando parks on a fundamental level, its design, its lands, theming, storytelling, all of it. So much to explore and so much depth to what's there. And compared to DHS, it has fewer rides but still more attractions (DHS being the park that I invariably skip). But I digress. I do like animals a lot but I don't think that's making me biased, as my family members also praise the park and they like animals a fairly average amount.

I agree with you on this. Should they have ever removed the original? No. Do I think they should bring Dreamfinder back? Absolutely. But I do enjoy Journey Into Imagination With Figment. It's a charming ride.
I will go one further on this. I would also claim the original was the most overrated attraction. I have posted this multiple times. As a kid from the 80’s who remembers the original well, I would claim it was dark, cold, and terrifying. I have a hard time trying to argue this with people who only seen it though youtube. I just don’t understand the passion for it.

-In fact, the small world haters are weird for hating so hard on an attraction whose message is "we are all human and should respect each other's cultures."
I actually fully understand why you feel this way. I will say though I think I just find our Small World kinda boring. I thought I had an issue with Small World but then I rode the one over at Tokyo Disneyland and I was absolutely in love with that one (even the Groot overlay was cute and charming). Maybe it's the "Place vs Place, Japan" effect but I really do think theirs is better than ours lol

I thought it was amazing as a kid! Easily a top 5 ride at WDW for me (with Image Works as the cherry on top, which was also awesome for someone under 10).

I think I liked Spaceship Earth and Horizons more, but still absolutely loved Imagination.

Disney food on average is an adventure to people who consider Chili’s to be exotic.

If you live in an even relatively medium-sized city and eat outside your own culture, places that are always hyped by Disney food influencers like Sanaa or Ohana aren't going to be mind-blowing.

I don't think that's even an unpopular opinion. Are there that many people who think the food at Disney is anything special (outside of Victoria & Albert's)?

A place like Flying Fish (which is the best meal I've had at a "normal" Disney restaurant) would still be a very good restaurant here in Atlanta, but it wouldn't be top of the line like it is at WDW.
