I used to think that Walt Disney World was the best place on earth until I actually started learning about the history of USF and the development of IOA. Universal, IMO, has so much more theming compared to any of the Disney parks (minus certain areas). I found it harder to understand, at first though. For instance, in New York, older buildings are towards the waterfront and gradually get newer for filming purposes. There are three places at WDW that completely stand out, however: ToT, the part of Asia surrounding EE, and Harambe.
I also have started to appreciate how a park is run as a whole. I forget who told me this the other day, but anyways... "The customer is always right, but there are no customers, only guests, and guests must follow house rules." I don't mind if Universal has to enforce a few rules.
CMs vs. TMs-- I've met my share of bad CMs and I've met my share of bad TMs and vice versa. Both companies pull from the same pool, Universal can be a little more selective.
Oh, my disclaimer. You may agree, you may disagree, but you will not convince me otherwise.
Sidenote: Jaws and Mummy have both been opening will all of their effects working.
