Despite the fact that I rarely watch this show on TV and I think having an attraction based on the show is a bad idea, I think it may work... It's sort of like the Nickelodeon stuff, but for the adults... See kids get slimed or see adults get sick... it's all fun! I think I may just enjoy going to see this because it'll be different everytime... but then again I like Who Wants To... at MGM... Hopefully it doesn't end up like the Fear Factor House they had during Halloween Horror Nights 12... that was a bust....
That's the only HHN house I ever truly hated. It was painful! I kept getting smacked around by all the props. (How in the world that fake Nerf brain hit my chin from below and snapped my neck back I'll never know....) :brick: :hammer:

Does anyone else find it ironic that NBC Universal's first collaborative theme park attraction is based off a show that has now been shafted from NBC's new fall schedule for 2005? They say it will be back in January '06 though to serve as their "American Idol insurance" to air opposite the popular show on Fox.

Then again, even though I know its way too early to judge new shows without seeing them, looking at their new schedule and descriptions of their new shows, I won't be surprised if they end up bringing it back sooner than that.

Just like they greenlighted the new Kong movie right around the time they closed the attraction. I tell ya, someone high up on Universal must've gotten his or her job on a contest...

i think it will be just another waste of money because personaly i dont like the idea, i think a new attrction in IOA would be much better than FEAR FACTOR. In another opinion, here in Venezuela and other nations of south america are also a big part of the people who goes to the park and here in any channel are showing FEAR FACTOR so we dont watch it. and even more, theres is people that dont know what fear factor is. Thats MY opinion. what do yo think

I think the show won't be as bad as everyone's making it out to be... I think it'll be funny watching people freak out because they have to eat bugs and brains and all... I don't watch the show often but lately I've been catching it every now and then and it's really not that terrible of a show... it's reality TV... and every show will be different, just like the Horror Make-Up Show, so I think it'll survive... I'd rather see this or another stunt show instead of a musical...
