I think that's the big thing. They will have to have a few different stunts to rotate in order to keep people coming back. If it's the same three stunts, nobody will bother seeing it more than thrice. Which would be VERY bad considering how much of a local audience Uni pulls in.
they will have rotating stunts...

Well they're kinda high, I bet its more enjoyable to watch than you think..... but we'll see.
Actually, they're not.

Unless they rebuilt the roof of the Stunt Show stage they are no more than 40 feet in the air actually.

That's just a promo shot, so it's obviously going to look higher than it really is.

I'm sure they will be spraying water on you, too...however, I can't help but think how much that stunt resembles something from the old show Dog Eat Dog, and not Fear Factor. I still think it'll be fine...at least it's something new at Universal, although I wish they would stop building attractions in two copies (while I admit the two RotM rides are not identical), one for Florida and one for Hollywood...

I don't think that stunt is any more dangerous than most of the other Fear Factor stunts...that's why they start off every episode clearly stating that the stunts are extremely dangerous and shouldn't be attempted by anyone, anywhere, at any time. You could die attempting most of those stunts on your own, but I don't see tractor trailer employees complaining that NBC needs to explicitly tell people not to jump between two trucks going 50 mph or Disney telling people that a pool that is on fire (...Fantasmic!...) is a dangerous place for a swim.

I thought the stunt was pretty creative, myself...I woulda had more trouble w/ the snakes and tarantulas.

The stadium is pretty big, and you could die from a 40 foot fall anyway, so, don't just count it out before you've seen this, I doubt they'll do a half attempt on this when they did a great job with The Mummy and Shrek (bar the lines), and they have huge competition opening soon at Disney, they can't afford a rubbish attraction.

I say we should take all of the warnings off of substations, and everything for that matter. That way, all the morons in this world will be gone ;)

Does anyone have any updates, word or pictures?
The same old Wild West sets are still up, they have painted the pillars that hold the roof up yellow and black and that's about it. I believe that they had all the construction crew working on the new shrek theater that just opened up earlier this week. They should be working heavly on it next week.

Wow. I bet fans of the Wild Wild West Stunt Show are pretty upset now. USF lost a great stunt show for........this? That has to suck. But believe me I know the feeling :animwink:

Well, I know I am. WWWSS was funny and entertaining, and this stuff is just stupid. If there's one thing I completely despise nowadays is reality shows. And we don't have nearly as many as you guys in the States. We have our version of Big Brother, Survival, American Idol, Fear Factor and the Aprentice, and we get the American Survival and American Idol. Oh, the ones with Paris Hilton and the Osbournes too, and Brazilian versions of small shows... :hurl: :hurl: :hurl: :hurl:

I generaly like their video clips for their new attractions (Mummy and Fear Factor Live). The part I like about it is they interview the people that are producing the attractions, and to hear their explanation of "why" they have decided to make this attraction.

At least we know they had strong rational going into making the attraction if it fails. I think as long as they make it exciting enough then they have a good chance to pull this off, one of the things that this show will have that no other show in any of the parks in orlando is reality. Guest will get to see real guest do these challanges unscripted. Well, I remember when nick studios use to film shows.

I think people will like it because it will actually allow them to do something, or see their friends or family doing something they might never do. I really think this show will be a success, they showed something on the news the other day about the testing in the park and people really seemed into it!
