UNI Monsters is going to be a gamechanger section. That IP does great with HHN -- and the main top tier attraction ride will be upper level quality, there's no doubt. If they can make the area cool with some year round 'haunts,' 'jump scares,' or townspeople 'shows' -- this area will be a hit. Everything at this park will be a hit -- the only section that I worry about staying power is "How to Train your Dragon." With that being said, I know the theming will be great, perfect for kids, with some adventure and thrill mixed in too. Epic Universe is truly going to be a gamechanger!
There is no nostalgia with these. It's all just Halloween costumes to most since the real movies were made before any generation still stands. Everything else in that park is tied to current or recent entertainment, so I would expect that Universal is planning to do the same. If anything, the monster universe is the large-scale equivalent of Disney's Haunted Mansion.

Horror fans are a-plenty! The movies don't need to be that relevant for folks to know the tales of these characters. If you haven't gone to HHN before, I highly suggest it. Uni tends to do a classic monsters attraction -- usually tying 2 or more of them together, and year-in-year-out, it is one of the favorite houses. This area is going to sell a TON of merchandise.

I know there’s a lot of unknowns still, but the only aspect of this that looks awful so far is the coaster in the Monsters section. The rest…wow.

It appears to be a "family" oriented coaster, but is in the land that will probably have the least appeal for younger guests.

I don't have a problem with it. IMO it's looking like Epic Universe is going to have a great balance between high theming and thrills. Which a lot of European parks do. If it's a success, I'm hoping more parks will go this direction

I feel like USF and IOA also have a great mix of theming and thrills. Universal excels here.

I am so excited for this new park. I'm expecting a whole park at the level of immersion the two current Wizarding world areas have. Universal's efforts show a company fighting for every visitor and know they have to keep building better. It is totally opposite to WDW at the moment which only ever seems to go downhill.

Not directly related to Epic Universe (but somewhat), I wonder what is going to go in place of the Fear Factor live show. It was supposedly going to be a new Wizarding ride (a broomstick virtual ride?) which was then moved to Epic and now allegedly cancelled altogether. Something to do with permits is keeping them from moving forward with anything in the FFlive location.

The broom ride was developed for Epic Universe. While the park was paused it was then moved to Universal Studios Florida before being cancelled which was not due to permit issues.

Any information on why this was canceled? And are they planning to add a second ride to the new Wizarding World (besides the Ministry ride)?

A very similar attraction opened at Harry Potter New York (since closed), and Universal didn't want to seem derivative.

And they are working on another attraction for Potter/Paris@Epic Universe.

Will there be one or two rides/attractions at the new Wizarding World? From what I read/watched, they have the main ministry one and land for expansion devoted to the new wizarding world with options.

Two attractions, a ride and a show. The area the cancelled ride was going into is being left empty.
