Uni Considering South Park attraction?

After reading up on the latest Blue Sky survey released by Uni on Screamscape and later these boards, I decided to check out the link myself.

I can also attest to the large amount of attention towards a LOTR area, but what surprised me more was I received a series of questions on how I would feel about a "South Park" in UNI/IOA.

These weren't as detailed as the forementioned LOTR questions, however it definitely piqued my interests and my hopes, as I've been a life-long SP fan.

Anybody have any thoughts? I'm sure the always controversial SP has mixed feelings on these boards

Holy Henson! I had a South park attraction in the Toontown area of Disney-Universal's Islands of Adventure, at the Disney-Universal Resort Brazil.

I love the show, but I can't imagine any kind of ride/attraction based on it...what would such a ride have, a giant AA of Mr. Hanky the Christmas Poo? :hurl::lol:

What I don't understand is why neither Universal nor Disney has ever considered a ride based on...The Wizard of Oz. And that's bizarre. One of the most beloved films of all time, with great possibilities for at least a ride or mini-park...and nothing, after all these years. Why? I remember that when DHS was Disney/MGM, I thought that eventually such a ride would appear...but no. Again, why?

If anything could successfully counter the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, it would be a ride based on The Wizard of Oz. Come Disney (or Universal!) Get a clue, buy the rights and follow the yellow brick road... :sohappy:
